Some do not want the veil lifted too soon.
...that are already outraged about having nothing to be outraged about.
Pat - just don’t put up the puzzle with the clue
“people who annoy you”
Dass true. Dem white devils don’ kno’ sheeeet about de Dindu Nuffins gang.
Who objected?
I’m outraged that I’m not outraged!
Who axed Pat the question anyway?
Every puzzle can’t be about basketball.
Maybe he should do something less controversial: like chop off little childrens heads because they are Christians.
Sajak should know. If he says this is the case then it almost certainly is.
But there is supposed to be “outrage”? Over what?
I would think this Tweet would get him in more hot water:
Donated $25 to Clinton Foundation. Hoping for Ambassadorship. Small nation would be fine. (https://twitter.com/patsajak/status/603920535832154112?s=17)
Apparently that went pretty much unnoticed.
(I just started following him after that Tweet. He’s my favorite now)
Rush Limbaugh often expresses his contempt for those on Twitter as mean and bitter. I can see what he means here.
Actually he has a good point.
As pop culture fragments amidst the social media fog, it is getting harder and harder to find stuff that most people are likely to know and recognize. Don’t believe me? Ask a Millenial to give you five catch phrases, and then tell me what they mean.
Twitter is just having a cow because Sajak is more Conservative than most celebrities.
So the folks who have destroyed our common culture are offended someone noticed?
This right here is the real danger of common core.
The writing samples with questions after are written by hack writers found on Craigslist, etc, and they are insipid touchy feely simplistic pieces. With bad morals. Current, pointless situations.
This is the exact opposite of the trend in homeschooling, which for the last 20 years has been toward using real classic books and passages thereof to learn English Comprehension.
We decivilize like frogs in a lovely tepid bath. It’s getting a little warmer.
That’s right Pat. There is nothing more threatening to the American Culture than your inability to come up with puzzles for Wheel or Fourtune.
” As we lose our common culture...”
A remarkably astute observation.
Pat should be entered into the Conservative Hall of Fame. Not many get named nowadays.
