if they’re “offering” the “captives” their freedom if they sign a pledge....Not to Sue..I’d assume that lawsuits are likely.
They would have sued eventually anyway. this just makes the suits a LOT larger.
since when can the judiciary offer BRIBES such as this???
Im thinking waco had better be insured to the teeth..and considering the bail....they WANTED....the insurance might not cover the lawsuits!

The judges are lawsuit-proof, absolute immunity, and it is the judge(s) who are setting the conditions for release. Naturally the DA is going to ask for a large amount, the public defender or hired defense attorney is going to argue for a lower amount, but what is set and held is decided solely by the judge.
