It has always been held that contracts or agreements signed under duress/coercion/extortion are invalid.

We’ll see if that holds true this time.

It has always been held that contracts or agreements signed under duress/coercion/extortion are invalid.

That was the formula that freed the crew of the USS Pueblo. The US gave NK it's demanded apology but the written apology was preceded by an oral statement that it was done only to secure the release.
