Secretary of State John Kerry suffered a broken leg in a bike accident in France early Sunday, and will return to the U.S. for treatment, the State Department said.
The cycling accident occurred near Scionzier, France, about 25 miles from Geneva, where Kerry had been holding nuclear talks with Iran's foreign minister, Javad Zarif.
Kerry was flown by helicopter to a hospital in Geneva in a stable condition, and is said to be in good spirits.
State Department spokesman John Kirby said Kerry had suffered a broken femur, but is expected to make a full recovery.

He has his home in Boston, a summer home on Nantucket and his pricey sailing yacht ... that he kept in Newport, RI ... until it went public in local Boston papers that his boat was registered in RI to avoid MA taxes. Ter-ay-za is probably residing for the summer on Nantucket ... typically Memorial Day or the first of June kickoff the summer season.

The leg was probably weakened by all the contortions he’s going to in an effort to get Iran to sign The Deal.
As much as I dislike Kerry’s policies, I do not wish that kind of pain upon someone of his age. This may be a game changer for him, unless, he can commandeer most aspects of his job via skype. Maybe Obama will send Sargeant Glum aka Susan Rice, in Kerry’s place.
