Well, in all fairness to the Republican middle, we really only had a conservative party during the Regan years and the first term of the Republican House in 1994.
Before that, wasn’t Gerald Ford’s vice president Nelson Rockefeller, Left Wing Republican? Nixon wasn’t so conservative by today’s standards, and not Eisenhower, either. Hoover wasn’t (he started intervening in the economy in 1929, only making it worse). Coolidge was. I really don’t think we’ve had any before that. Maybe Jefferson.
I agree. As far as I'm concerned, they could narrow the field down to Fiorina, Walker, Cruz, and MAYBE Rubio. I like Jindal too but he's not pretty enough to be elected president.

Carly was an adviser to the McCain campaign. She wants to import more foreign workers to take American jobs and depress wages further. She was crushed by Boxer in her Senate race attempt. Of course, any Rep would be. It is CA after all.

I’m not giving Hastert a pass but I’d like a lot more information before damning him. I think it’s suspicious to bring up sexual misbehavior that’s what, 30-40 years old? I wonder how long the Democrats have been sitting on that one?
In the mean time, screw the Democrats and media. Until they hold Clinton accountable for rapes and sexual assaults, they have no standing to complain or accuse anyone of anything. While they’re at it, it’s also time for investigations of the slush funds the Clinton’s are using as well as buying access to Hillary as SoS. And prosecutions if warranted.

Agreed, saw the Fiorina-Wallace joust...she ran rings around Chrissy giving clear and definitive answers. Not sure if she has a chance for POTUS, but she would be a refreshing contrast in that first debate. She is the antithesis of the Hildabeast!
