The No Such Agency's charter pre 9/11 prohibited them from turning the ears inward on America. Patriot Act changed all that.

That girl was annoying. She wouldn’t let anyone talk and had that Marxist smirk working overtime.

Is there anything funnier than Secretary Lurch falling down on his bicycle and breaking his leg? You know he was doing some photop on the Tour and missed a corner. What is he 80 and trying to ride the Tour??

The Iranians must think this is truly amateur hour.

Watched FNS to see Carly Fiorini and it was well worth while. The whole show was pretty good and had a democrat Hillary woman subbing for Juan Williams. Juan is better, at least he can be understood and this woman makes little sense. Thank God Britt Hume was there to unscramble whatever she was trying to get across. Carly is really, really, good and I consider her a plus for Republicans who are interested in a very intelligent, presentable, articulate, accomplished candidate to represent them in govt.

Lurch falling down on his bicycle

On the thread about that topic, someone posted a link to a youtube video, a compilation of cyclist crashes.

I laughed several times. (smarmy biches)

“Wallace attempting to defend Curlylocks, George “Fishnet” Will now weighing in with non-comment.”

Stopped watching the minor Commie channel after Carly finished and I saw who was on the panned.

Carly did well. It will take a lot of work to communicate a message to the primary voters. Let us hope that the alternate communication channels become a very good option.

As for me (as in Old fart/ old dogs and new tricks), I do not do Facebook and the rest of this “crap”. Most of my news comes from FREEREPUBLIC posts

Well, say a democrat claimed that the overconsumption of fossil fuels and quality lifestyle was destroying the planet.

Then, it was discovered that this same democrat, has a house that burns through twenty-five regular house's worth of electricity in a year and
Would the media call him a hypocrite?

How about a politician
who wants to raise taxes on everyone and then gets caught registering his boat in another state to avoid paying taxes on it? Is THAT a hypocrite? Did the news talk much about THAT hypocrisy?

But of course, a Republican caught being gay IS a hypocrite, and the news media has a duty to not only point that out to everyone, but rail about it ad nauseum.

Of course being a child molester or teacher having sex with a student (same thing) is wrong and criminal, and that adult person needs to go to jail. REGARDLESS of political affiliation.

It is interesting to learn about those who paid to get influence and special USA treatment. I also wonder how many countries or companies who got screwed because they did not pay to play?

It’s criminal that USA foreign policy and be bought by special interests.

What Carly is especially good at is talking over the interruption. She has learned to counter the tactic by raising her pitch and voice without slowing down. She will not stop talking until her point is completed. She is very good at defeating this tactic.

Well...yeah.

I also fail to see why people feel a need to become enslaved to that format, and why they would want to be so public with all their personal information.

Looks like a good way to get killed.

I’m hearing this a lot from people like you—FReepers whose opinion I highly regard—and it is interesting...

However, I am a Cruz/Walker — Walker/Cruz enthusiast now but am willing to listen in the debates.

As a former admirer of the Hewlett-Packard company of the 1970s/80s, I am not happy about what she did to them... But then a lot of companies—famous or otherwise—went belly up during the 90s as we transitioned technologies from the mainframe to the strictly client/server model. Competition was fierce and a lot of people bought cheaper instead of quality and HP got hurt by that. They tried to cheapen their products then but their quality suffered (what they were renowned for).

So what would a Carly presidency be like? RINO? Mainstream? Not conservative?

Carly is one more voice to carry the Conservative message. Is she a true Conservative? No, but she does know how to articulate certain parts of Conservatism and is more Conservative than she was when she ran against Boxer.

“Today, HP is a stronger company because of Carly Fiorina’s bold action. Certainly some of this credit goes to current management, who capitalized on the changes Carly made. But it was Carly who shook up the status quo. She engineered the merger. She restructured the combined company. She positioned HP to gain market share, and she deserves credit for standing up to the naysayers and critics to achieve the positive end result.”

I am a Ted Cruz supporter as well. I think Carly would be an excellent VP for him. A good team with each contributing strengths where needed. Carly has to run for president to get known and the GOP needs sensible candidates to give the voters a reason to go to the polls. I like Walker as well but IMO Cruz is a better choice for the type of action that needs to take place to restore this Republic.

Carly Fiorina has learned a lot from her previous political and professional business activities and her defeats have made her wiser and stronger. I learned more about her personal and professional life this AM and she has quite an interesting background.

Carly sounding GREAT!!!

Carly is a good speaker. Sounds impressive. Sounds like she really knows what she's talking about.

Execution is her big failing. She has been a poster child for the Peter Principle several times.
