Vice President President Joe Biden announced the passing of his son, Beau Biden, in a statement released by the White House.
"It is with broken hearts that Hallie, Hunter, Ashley, Jill and I announce the passing of our husband, brother and son, Beau, after he battled brain cancer with the same integrity, courage and strength he demonstrated every day of his life," reads the statement from Vice President Biden.
"The entire Biden family is saddened beyond words. We know that Beau’s spirit will live on in all of us—especially through his brave wife, Hallie, and two remarkable children, Natalie and Hunter.

No person deserves the heartbreak of losing a child (no matter how old that child is).
RIP and prayers for God to help the Bidens through this. They have had tragedy before and I do feel for Vice President Biden and his family.

I am unaware he ever used the sudden and very tragic death of his wife and daughter in any campaign. Do you know differently?

You’re joking, right? If you’re not, in his campaign speeches he blamed a drunk driver for the accident, and still does, even years after it was proven drunk driving had nothing to do with it.
