It’s about time a Republican had the guts to bring the message of self-reliance to the inner city.

Wrong. Primarily, it’s a mental problem within the individual coupled with no respect for ethics and morals. The criminal thinks his/her “need” to kill, rape or rob is justified. They have no concept of guilt or remorse.

I’m happy to see someone actually talking about spirituality and salvation in a place where people have apparently forgotten what that is, but I’m sure the media will be slamming him for days for daring to promote anything to do with God...

On this he is right.

Crime is closely connected to broken families and substance abuse, and these at the base are moral and spiritual issues.

“Wrong. Primarily, it’s a mental problem within the individual coupled with no respect for ethics and morals.”

You don’t think “no respect for ethics and morals” denotes a spiritual problem?

“They have no concept of guilt or remorse.”

Those of us acquainted with more than science would call that “a spiritual problem.”

Yep, it has nothing to do with melanin content tendency
and everything to do with cultural behavioral tendencies.

“ethics and morals” come from the fear of ultimate accountability.

Rejecting that concept, there are no “morals and ethics”.

I agree. It is a serious spiritual problem of which the consequences are (but not limited to) drug consumption, murder, stealing, living with Bubba in prison, abortion, government dependence, broken families, gay “marriage”, suicide, ad nauseum. The social constructs set in place by government to keep people under their boots are just another manifestation of serious spiritual problems. Same source, different consequences, all bad.

Our Constitution is for a moral and religious people, and is not suitable for the governance of any other.

Government has been ruining families in low-income neighborhoods by teaching women they don’t need a husband-government will support her and any kids, and take care of her kids till after five, with public school and warehouse daycare-that convinces men they are not needed-and neither parent has any pride, sense of accomplishment or useful ambition, takes any parental responsibility at all for the spiritual and moral education of the kids-they are just turned loose to roam the streets committing crimes until they either get arrested or taken out in the act by another gangbanger or-less likely- a cop.
