I'm sure Officer Enriquez will be charged in the deaths of the 2 "police officers" as any normal serf, er I mean citizen would be if they caused the death of a K9. I'll be holding my breath.

...two police dogs were found dead inside an unmarked SUV parked outside a Hialeah police officer's home. Hialeah police say K-9 Officer Nelson Enriquez arrived at his home in Davie early Wednesday after completing his midnight shift and apparently left the dogs inside his vehicle. Investigators say the officer found the dogs around 7 p.m....

Late-night target practice?

All is well. The Officer involved is a trained professional and knows what’s best. Sue the auto maker for letting the interior of their vehicles get so hot in the Florida heat.

My first thought was heat exhaustion. Locked in the car all day in Florida. I don’t know what the temp was yesterday, but today the weather report for Orlando is 87.

“completing his midnight shift.” Does that mean his shirt started at midnight, so he worked, what, 8 hours? Got home at say 9 am and never once thought of the dogs between then and 7pm the next evening? Benefit of the doubt the dogs were left unattended in the vehicle for 10 hours. Never once thought he should feed them? Let them out to exercise or relieve themselves? Given the times in the story, midnight shift until 7 pm the following day, I don’t see how this could be anyone’s fault but his own.

Fire the moron, after levying a huge fine. Those dogs relied on him for food and protection, plus they cost taxpayers thousands and thousands of dollars.

He should pay with his life, and he belongs on death row already. He MURDERED 2 Police Officers after he Tortured them.

That is exactly how we would be described for the SAME ACT!
