==============================

Ted Cruz 2016 : Florida Political Tsunami - Ted Cruz crushes Marco Rubio in Tea Party Vote (65-10%)

Ted Cruz : 65 %
Mike Huckabee : 15 %
Marco Rubio : 10%
Scott Walker : 5 %
Ben Carson: 5 %

U.S. Senator Ted Cruz's momentum in the "must win" Florida battleground makes powerful strides, and serious questions arise concerning the political weakness of Marco Rubio, Florida's disappointing "Favorite Son".

The Tampa 9-12 Tea Party group presented the Ted Cruz national and Florida campaigns with a tremendous 65% to 10% victory Marco Rubio this past Tuesday evening (2015-05-26).

Washington Beltway Political Analysts are confounded by the clear emerging Florida pattern where Ted Cruz consistently defeats or narrowly ties Marco Rubio.

On Tuesday a week ago, Ted Cruz statistically tied Marco Rubio (30.4 % to 30.7%) at the "Florida Family Policy Council" Presidential Straw Poll Vote in Orlando (see photo below).

Marco Rubio's presidential prospects appear ominous, and clearly, Rubio's major financial donors understandably view these two Florida Straw Poll defeats with concern.

The news is even worse for Florida Senator Marco Rubio. Experienced Florida campaign observers increasingly believe that Rubio's surprise decision for a presidential run is possibly based on internal Florida polling that showed that Marco Rubio faced a 2016 re-election defeat.

Why ?

Florida's Tea Party groups were a decisive factor in Marco Rubio's razor-thin GOP Florida U.S. Senate victory in 2010.

These same Florida Tea Party groups (across the entire state of Florida) have indicated a dangerous "ABM" attitude (Anybody But Marco).

Simply put, Florida's Tea Party groups are enraged at Marco Rubio's alleged political betrayal over his support of the infamous "Gang of Eight" illegal immigrants' amnesty bill, where Rubio allied himself with New York Senator Chuck Schumer.

Time will certainly tell if Senator Ted Cruz continues his rising wave of Florida grassroots political support.

In the meantime, Marco Rubio's national campaign team and major financial donors are watching Ted Cruz's Florida political momentum with growing concern.

I see percentages but not the total numbers of people polled. What were they?

Lmao. Come on, at least invent an excuse. On another thread Cruz is being attacked because
there's no dirt on him yet. And until they find something he's not a viable candidate.

I applaud your humor, we need it.

He beat me to it...but it sounds like something some of the trolls on here would say.

Made me smile, anyway.

Go Cruz!

While this may be nice to read it really means nothing. A new Quinnipiac poll has Ted Cruz BELOW Paul, Carson, the huckster....everyone except Trump.

The latest RCP.org average has Cruz polling 7th, back from 6th last week.

I know Senator Cruz is FR's favorite but he's heading in the wrong direction. He needs to make something big happen soon or he won't even be on stage at the debates.

Many of these polls don’t even include Cruz as one of the candidates. They are also used to promote agendas and Cruz winning is not one of them.

Use your eyes and what you see in grassroots circles. There is no Way Cruz is not in the Top 3...these averages are bogus.

Ted Cruz may be Free Republic’s favorite ... but it’s not limited there ... that’s WHY these “boots-on-the-ground” straw polls are extremely valuable ... because they ACCURATELY reflect the mood of America’s Conservatives ...

Clearly you've Never Been to Singapore ... and you didn't Stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night ...

Marco Rubio has had his political clock cleaned TWICE in the last week in Florida.

Any idea of why you didn't read about it in the WSJ, hear Rush Limbaugh announce it, or watch Fox News report it ?

Yeah I agree. Too many R voters are still in the “he cant win” mode....He would win big time. Id say if we had a Cruz/Rubio ticket it would be a blow out...even a Rubio /Cruz ticket. And dont forget Walker.

Our main concern needs to be to knock Bush out and fast.

Any poll at this time that shows Jeb and Rubio at the top is highly suspect and manipulated.

Possible. Im not a social media type but folks tell me the “mood” is definately in the direction of Cruz Walker and Rubio. I dont know. Have to wait and see I guess. The polls in the last couple of election cycles have proven to be way off.
