This past weekend the motorcyclists owned Washington, DC with their annual Rolling Thunder activity for Memorial Day. Does anyone know what kind of motorcycle groups take part in this event??

I know of a few Bandidos and Cossacks that stayed home for the weekend ...

All kinds of motorcycle groups and individuals take part in the annual Rolling Thunder event.

I've seen AMA sponsored clubs, Harley Owners Group folks, Pagans MC members, Vietnam Veterans MC members, Christian Motorcyclist Association riders, various ABATE groups... ...the list is practically endless.

In past years I have attended it on a "crotch rocket" (both with a sport-bike group and an ABATE Chapter), on an old Triumph with a few "brit-bike enthusiasts, on a Harley Softail with a group of independent "bikers", and on a BMW R100RS all by myself.

It is a truly diverse crowd.

ALL of them.

The vast majority of bikers are vets.

And that includes all “percents”.
