Say my name. ---Walter White aka Heisenberg in Breaking Bad.
New York Times writer Robert Pear knows his name but he didn't say it in his article about how four words in the Obamacare law was simply a mistake. Pear quotes a number of people involved in the law's writing process but fails to mention the one who was acknowledged as the architect of Obamacare...until it became politically inconvenient to do so---Jonathan Gruber. And the reason why Gruber's name went unmentioned in the article is because of his claim, recorded for all eternity on video, that only state based health exchanges would be eligible for subsidies.

New York Slimes: all the news that’s fit to print, providing of course it benefits the democrat party
Selective Reporting is what it’s called.
J. Gruber is a funny guy. He told truth about Obamacare but then turned dull during the D.C. hearings (at least on the parts I saw he looked beaten).
Bump
BTW, this “mistake” meme is unadulterated B.S.
The language was deliberately changed to get the CBO scoring under $1T, with the presumption they would go in and “fix” it later - that is, that’s what they though before they lost their filibuster-proof majority
“Jonathan Gruber Glaringly Absent From NYT Article on Obamacare Wording ‘Mistake’”
Well, naturally. The NYT isn’t a news outlet, it’s a “Progressive”(= Marxist/Communist/Democrat) propaganda organ. We expect nothing less than a panoply of twisted ideology from the NYT; in fact, I’d be terribly disappointed if I ever agreed with anything they publish.
However, I will NOT be disappointed when they cease publishing a print edition due to ever-shrinking subscriptions and are reduced to just another amongst a billion other websites. Even better, I hope they paywall their website into complete oblivion as well, not to mention the added benefit of a good paywall preventing their corrosive propaganda leaching out into the Iverse.
however facebook will be pumping NYT propaganda right onto facebook pages requested or not.
Also, notice how forbes and msnbc have been pushing the women as leaders meme?
Thanks PJ-Comix
> They are only four words in a 900-page law: “established by the state.” But it is in the ambiguity of those four words in the Affordable Care Act that opponents found a path to challenge the law, all the way to the Supreme Court.
