Westminster Abbey has been accused of "denial of the Lordship of Jesus Christ" after the prophet Muhammad was described as "the chosen one" in a prayer at a First World War service.
The Abbey, which is a Royal Peculiar under the personal jurisdiction of the Queen and outside the Church of England's diocesan structures, included a Turkish prayer in the recent service of commemoration and thanksgiving marking the centenary of the Gallipoli campaign.
The Archbishop Cranmer blogspot noted that God was thanked in the Abbey, and referred to as Allah, and there was no problem with that because Allah is simply Arabic for 'The God'.
"We may quibble over conflicting doctrines and cavil over contradictory revelations, but if St Paul can address a meeting of the Areopagus and exhort the incipient virtue in the ignorance of Athenian religiosity, whether you call the Creator of the universe 'God', 'Jehovah', 'YHWH', 'I Am' or 'Allah', you are acknowledging (in mirrors darkly) the One who does not live in temples built by human hands, and the One who gives everyone life and breath and everything else," he wrote.
But Cranmer said there was a problem with the prayer the congregation heard, which began "Bizleri yaratan" and included the phrase: "Muhammed Mustafa".
He wrote: "It's hard to be offended by something one cannot understand. And there can be no offence at all caused by any exhortation of God in Turkish, for God is not an Englishman."
Allah may have started out as the Arabic name for God, however it has morphed into the Arabian Moon God of Nabateans. A singular entity that has no son. An unknowable god that demands the blood of his enemies, rewarding those who shed the blood with a "playboy mansion" paradise. The followers of Allah will be the first to admit the differences between their god and Yahweh. It is only foolish liberals afflicted by cognitive dissonance who attempt to smooth the differences. Who do you choose?
1 Kings 18:21 And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD [Yahweh] be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow * him. And the people answered him not a word.
Let's not kid ourselves. The "Allah" worshipped by Muslims is nothing more (or less) than a powerful demon.
And most certainly NOT God.
Funny how no one mentions that this service with a “Turkish prayer” about “Allah” was to honor the British Galipoli dead — who died at the hands of the freakin’ TURKS! So not only is this an affront to Christ, but also a treasonous affront to Britain by extolling the satanic godhead of an enemy that killed 34,000 British troops.
Allah may technically show as “god” in dictionaries. But the issue is - what god? First, it’s a god that commands its followers to invade, conquor, subjugate and/,or murder Christians, Jews, and infidels in general. Also, to never befriend them and to lie, make fake treaties with them as may be necessary In Order to trick them into believing they’re at peace so, like Mohammed , Moslems can then attack you when you’re guard is down. Second, you know a tree by its fruits. The fruits of Allah are wars, terrorist attacks, bombings, murders, hostage- taking, crucifixions of Christians and burning same alive in metal cages. Definitely Not the Judeo- Christian God. Rather, the other guy ( with the horns, pitchfork, and tail).
And .. GOD is not a Muslim; HE IS.
Mohammed was a Muslim ..!!!
The Church of England will happily become Moslem when they get a sense that is the way the air mass is flowing.
Excellent quotes. Thanks for the share.
Anyone raised Moslem who wants to pray to the one true God needs to get the hell out of Islam right away. Pray free of that destructive Satanic cult. Pray by yourself , pray directly to God - He’ll hear you - then with all respect find an honest church or synagogue you’re comfortable with that seriously seeks to pray to God as revealed by the Bible. It can take some shopping around, some discernment, as not all of them are what they claim to be ( some have abandoned true faith and even a genuine search for faith, preferring to cater to various human desires instead) But there are still many good honest ones around. Find one and you’ll change your entire life around for the better.
I reckon I’ll let Arabic speaking Jews and Christians define the term for me.

Although “Allah” is Arabic for God, the Allah of Islam IS NOT the God of the Bible.
“allah” may be Arabic for the supreme deity, but the God of the Bible is not the deity of Islam. The deity of Islam is so weak that he must have all his followers do the killing for him. The Creator God of Scripture is strong enough to take care of Himself.
Then there is the matter that the Creator God declares that Israel in general and Jerusalem in particular is His.
Just to remind the Muslims why their efforts to destroy Israel cannot succeed:
Psalms 132:13-14
(13) For the LORD hath chosen Zion; He hath desired it for His habitation:
(14) ‘This is My resting-place for ever; here will I dwell; for I have desired it.
There is no Allah but Satan, and Muhammad is his pedophile.
May I point out that this is a case of map vs. territory.
The name Allah has been used to refer to the One True God by Arabic-speaking Christians for at least 500 years before Mohammed came around.
I propose we not let them hijack this perfectly good word that Christians were using first.
BTW, in Malaysia and elsewhere Christians are being prosecuted in Muslim courts for using the word Allah in their services.
Here’s a quote from the Catholic Encyclopedia, 1917, well before PC was invented.
“In one form or another this Hebrew root occurs in all Semitic languages as a designation of the Divinity; but whether it was originally a proper name, pointing to a primitive monotheism, with subsequent deviation into polytheism and further rehabilitation, or was from the beginning an appellative which became a proper name only when the Semites had reached monotheism is a much debated question. It is certain, however, that before the time of Mohammed, owing to their contact with Jews and Christians, the Arabs were generally monotheists.”

Hey, let Muslems define the term if you want. As for myself, I’ll go with the Jews and Christians take on it.
Doesn’t seem that complicated to me.

the prophet Muhammad
Someone educate me, what has he ever prophesied?
“It is only foolish liberals afflicted by cognitive dissonance who attempt to smooth the differences.”
No, reasonable conservative recognize that Arab Christians call the God of the Bible Allah because that is the Arab word for God. God divided the languages and left His title in Arabic which was probably the same title used all the way back to the forming of the church in Acts when Jews scattered various places heard the gospel in their own native dialect. Arabic was probably among them.
Just because people co-opt a word, does not automatically change the meaning, especially when there is no other word for God in Arabic.
It is beyond dispute that Allah was the name of God in Arabic before Islam and before the King James Bible was translated from the original languages into English. It is foolish for Western Christians to think Arabs must become English speakers in order to become Christian. English was not spoken at Pentecost, but Arabic might have been.
“The followers of Allah will be the first to admit the differences between their god and Yahweh.”
Misses the point. Muslims will tell you that Christians, Jews and Muslims worship the same One God but that Christians and Jews have a wrong understanding of who He is. The reverse is true. But insulting Allah is an insult to God to those who speak Arabic, including Arab Christians and Jews.
The Muslims are wrong that Allah is God’s name, but it is His title in Arabic.
Citing some Biblical passage about Baal to prop up support for an erroneous position is just reading ones own beliefs into the passage rather than reading it for what it says.
If Allah is NOT the Arabic title for God, then please tell me what is the Arabic word for God?
“Would your Arabic speaking friends go into a mosque and bow to Allah in prayer?”
They wouldn’t be Christian if they did. Are you aware that the Bible was written in Hebrew and Greek originally and has been translated into Arabic? Are you also aware that Allah is the title for God to Christians and Jews who speak Arabic? Christians and Jews recognize the Arabic word for God without considering that His name.
“How many Arabic Christians are there? “
Do a Google search.
“How do they make the distinction given Allah is know to the world as the one the false prophet Mohammed revealed.”
Maybe you should already know this BEFORE asserting such a strong position about the word “Allah”.
How do you distinguish between your understanding of the term “God” versus people who mean something completely different by it. Do you think English speaking Mormons, Catholics, and Protestants all have the same theology of who God is?
