THE TELEGRAPH ^ | 05/26/15 | Julian Ryall

China's forces will no longer be limited to defence of the nation's territory but will project its military power further beyond its borders at sea and more assertively in the air in order to safeguard its maritime possessions, the white paper states.

While the air force will shift focus from "territorial air defence" to both offence and defence, the Chinese army will increase its global mobility and its artillery will improve its "medium and long-range precision strikes", it said

It is almost as if he is intentionally goading our enemies into a position where they fell fine about attacking us...

So later power can be centrally consolidated in our country

Don’t fool yourself we are at least 19 months away from the possibility of a good Commander in Chief and who knows what kind of fraud the communists can pull off.

If China and Russia and Iran team up the possibilities for bad things for the USA is endless.

Obama is a worthless punk pinko and our potential and known enemies know that.
Get ready the USA is in the cross hairs.

Malaysia, Vietnam and the Philippines could just use nukes too.
China is forcing it’s neighbors to defend themselves.
They sure can’t count on us anymore.

“All they would really have to do is stop exporting to us.”

Wouldn’t the flip side also apply. All we have to do is stop paying them?

The amount of debt they hold is about $1.2 T, not trillions plural. They own less than 10% of our total debt. Being owed money is not an insulator again conflict or war. Germany owed massive amounts of money to Great Britain and France after WWI. That did not stop them from declaring war after the German invasion of Poland .

In the short to mid term, China can always print $$ (like we do). On the other hand, we can’t just take our factories back.

The Chinese don’t do power projection very well. The last time I remember them trying it was a ham fisted, Three Stooges affair with the Viets.

His replacement won’t be nearly as accommodating.

Oh yes, she will. :)

Actually it doesn't matter who the POTUS is - NO ONE is going to pick a fight with the PRC over their South China Sea imperialism, and they know it.

They did catch us by surprise in 1950. However I believe MacArther could’ve kicked the crap out of them if he was allowed to fight the way he wanted....even without nukes.

You reckon Dubya an alpha male?
I'll grant you he's a cut above Occupy White House guy who speaks loudly and wields a tiny stick to limp wrist red lines in sand that get violated without retribution because NO ONE respects him.
Nah, I'm looking for bigger dogs that that.

We? I know what’cha mean. Kidding.

Our so called leaders have placed us in a very dangerous spot economically, militarily and morally.

Oh well. At this point, I say, “let it break”.

We cannot achieve reform through the ballot box any longer. The latest republican betrayal proves this beyond a shadow of a doubt.

The faster it breaks, the quicker we can begin to put it back together.

This is impossible. We were told by our great globalist leaders that if we’d only open trade with China, ship thousands of US factors and millions of jobs to China, and approve their admission to the WTO, we were told China would become freedom loving democrats and humanitarians once they experienced the wonders of free enterprise and capitalism.

So, someone must be misreporting what’s really happening in China because our great globalists and trade pushers are never wrong about anything.

We cannot go toe to toe with the chinese and win.

The chinese are already eating our lunch, and are literally the proxy of the US industrial base.

If china halted all shipments to the US tomorrow, most of the manufacturing and tech sectors in the US would grind to a halt.

China has manuvered itself into being a sole supplier for so many products in the US, that we can’t even ramp up domestic production, even if we wanted to.

The US may have cutting edge technology, but we gave away the ability make even the most simple building blocks of manufacturing to a communist nation, and they will use that technology to defeat and enslave us.

Germany owed massive amounts of money to Great Britain and France after WWI. That did not stop them from declaring war after the German invasion of Poland .

Germany's economy was not totally dependent on trade with them either.......

China's economy is totally dependent on trade with the U.S. at an estimated $45 billion in exports to the U.S. Starting a war would stop the exports and shut down their factories. Couple that with the billions of dollars of food stuffs such as pork, chicken, soy and corn they import from us just to feed their own people, a war with us would also result in the inevitable starvation of many of their people.

Nope, China isn't going to start a war with us......What's that old saying? "An Army marches on its stomach"....

“U.S. vs China war would shut their economy down as well.”

Their manufacturing base is now MUCH larger than ours is, with soon-to-be-secure access to Russian Gas, oil, and minerals.
How long would it take to convert that to a war footing?
