For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. Romans 1:26,27 (KJV)
Vice President Joe Biden say today that the rights of the LGBT people are violated by religious condemnation. He is directly referring to Bible verses like the one posted at the top of this article. The Progressive Liberals are well aware that it is God, speaking by the Holy Spirit through the Bible, that condemns homosexuality in all its many forms. According to Joe Biden, the American Bible believing Christian who takes the Bible literally, is violating the rights of the LGBT by trusting in Gods word. And this is why old-fashioned preaching will soon be classified as a hate crime. Because Liberals cant stand it. Biden is also saying that the rights of the Christian are inferior to the rights of the LGBT individual.
"My father taught me the simple notion that everyone, everywhere is entitled to be treated with dignity and respect. When it comes to LGBT people, that simple proposition has been painfully difficult to accomplish over the years. But in the last decade, thanks to the astounding bravery of the LGBT community and those who have championed their cause, the United States has made remarkable progress toward the ultimate goal of equality in law and in life. Our progress remains incomplete, but the momentum has shifted in the right direction..."

Very good.
I suspect that you've read, thought, and prayed through this enough already that, although you have a hard time with it, you do in fact understand it, in addition to obeying it with the Spirit's help. In case you could use a boost, though, allow me to offer:
1. We are all sinners, as you know. Jesus loves us all and paid for us all.
2. A cogent discussion of this subject, loving our (unlovely) neighbors, is by CS Lewis in Mere Christianity, which I excerpt here from page 59 (emphasis added):
For a long time I used to think this a silly, straw-splitting distinction: how could you hate what a man did and not hate the man? But years later it occurred to me that there was one man to whom I had been doing this all my lifenamely myself. However much I might dislike my own cowardice or conceit or greed, I went on loving myself. There had never been the slightest difficulty about it. In fact the very reason why I hated the things was that I loved the man. Just because I loved myself, I was sorry to find that I was the sort of man who did those things.Consequently, Christianity does not want us to reduce by one atom the hatred we feel for cruelty and treachery. We ought to hate them. Not one word of what we have said about them needs to be unsaid. But it does want us to hate them in the same way in which we hate things in ourselves: being sorry that the man should have done such things, and hoping, if it is anyway possible, that somehow, sometime, somewhere, he can be cured and made human again.
Exactly.
Well, then, we know where Biden and most of America are going to end up, don't we?
Wouldn’t you rather get the awful truth than sugar coated lies?
Well said!
I love my Catholc heritage and family, but the scandals in the RC hierarchy lately are legion. I have no need to list them.
If Biden believes so strongly about queers, he should divorce his wife and enter into a queer relationship. In about ten years, he can come back and tell us all how that worked out. And that goes for everyone like Crazy Joe. If you’re a heterosexual, and you support queers like this, then you should enter into one of those unions and then tell us all how you like it, in about ten years. How a tiny minority of people can cause so much trouble is beyond me. We have a minority ruling the majority. It seems like it’s so easy for them todo it. It shouldn’t be that way.
That was my point exactly!
Which still makes him intolerant, even on an abstract level. And, of course, experience has shown that people that think that way are the most intolerant of all
You know, I could care less anymore. I am a Christian and I don’t name sin something good. That goes for all sin, including my own.
If sinners don’t like that, they can stay away from me because they will not dictate to me and I am not going to debate it with them anymore. I don’t care. Go away little homo. Mind your own butt business. : )
