Can’t say, but I can say this looks like a hit piece. Rather than trying to destroy Walker and elevate Cruz...Why not focus all your ammo on Hilliary?

Not defending Walker, just questioning your motives.

There are no non-partisan bureaus in Wisconsin. This is pure partisan politics.

1 If Democrats say something is corruption, it probably isn't.
2 If this really is what it looks like, it's further proof Walker is just another Republicrat.

We didn’t really have a conservative then. Now we do. It’s Ted Cruz. Hit pieces on the other phony stalking horses are welcome.

Look. If Walker was a consistent conservative, I'd be for him. When he started pimping amnesty, he lost all my support. Cruz is our guy. If we don't rally around him Jebster will be the nominee.

Wisconsin is filled with these kinds of government boards, all with budgets that help support themselves. There are now fewer than there were when Walker took office. But there are still lots. All in all the budget is in better condition than it was. The state is better off. But its far from perfect. He did tackle the largest budget buster. Here in Illinois we would love to have Walker.

I like Cruz. But Cruz has never run any government. So, I would not compare someone with no record with someone who has a record.

During the 2010 campaign for governor, Scott Walker promised to create 250,000 jobs in his first term.

Toward this end, one of his first acts as governor was to privatize the state's economic development agency. Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) opened its doors in July 2011.

That quotation makes it sound like this operation was the centerpiece of Walker's jobs plan. In fact, Walker worked to make Wisconsin more business friendly. Opening up mining for the first time in DECADES (Wisconsin is the BADGER state for mining, the animal is a cute pun), lowering taxes as a general proposition, and cutting state spending. The increase in jobs could not occur while the outcome of the Act 10 business and the recall was in doubt. Also, Michigan and Indiana got more business friendly during the same period, leaving only Minnesota and Illinois from which to poach.

Is the WEDC poorly run? Maybe so, I don't know. Nearly all states have some version of this on some scale. Walker sure makes the right people mad.

I am a Cruz supporter, with Walker as #2. I defend Cruz and Walker honestly on this forum. Jeb Bush is teh enemy. The media are the enemy. End of story.

I supported Cain, but he wasn't viable. Hit pieces only help the dems, not us. You will see that very quickly when Linda starts his campaign by attacking Cruz. Attacks on Linda will be very legitimate but ineffective since his purpose will be to take out Cruz.

Attacking Bush or Crispy is legitimate but also ineffective because if they succeed on one, the other will take over. The attack and destroy system of primary politics really only favors the establishment.

I love Cruz. I will try hard to continue to love Cruz despite the slimy, liberal-lapdog posts like this one from his other supporters.

Please stop. I would love to see Cruz win but it’s not going to be by you guys posting left-wing tripe about Walker.

If Walker was a consistent conservative, I'd be for him.

Please show me where Walker has been inconsistent as governor of Wisconsin and did something that was not conservative.

Please point to a specific ACTION Walker took that was not conservative.

When he started pimping amnesty, he lost all my support.

When was that? Was it when he voted with the Milwaukee Council in support of immigration reform and Walker inserted "no amnesty" into the resolution or was it when he said he supports reforming the current immigration system to make it easier for people who want to work here to get visas?

Please enlighten us as to when did Walker "pimp" amnesty?Walker has taken Sen Jeff Sessions' position on the issue and opposes increasing legal immigration until unemployment is resolved. He still opposes amnesty for illegals currently here. Both positions are more conservative than what Cruz has proposed and spoken about.

The Wisconsin Dems did every thing they could to stop job development, especially stopping the iron mine up north. Now they are blaming Walker ...

From your sources, what was the situation with this board before he privatized it?
That is the key point: is this an improvement in performance?

None of your liberal buddies care to make that comparison.
Like you they throw out the accusation and then hide.

“In 2012, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel broke the story that WEDC had lost track of $12 million in loans because it never asked businesses to pay them back.”

Ya think they wrote an article re Hillary’s missing BILLIONS while at State? LOL....

It has been mentioned somewhere here and without sounding mean, I agree with those who believe Governor Walker has a fantastic legislative body who are hand-holding him through his term. I have read some of them will suggest something...like Right to Work and IIRC the governor wasn’t interested. And yet I have never read those same lawmakers pointed that out. They seem to be a loyal bunch. He’s a lucky man. Again, not to be mean, but I have a problem seeing him stand virtually alone against Putin, Erdogan, or whoever is in charge of Iran, or any strong leader. That’s my concern.

Is it better than it was before?
That’s what he should be judged by, yet we aren’t told.

These boards are a form of political spoils. Spoils are a waste of taxes but they’re ubiquitous. Some candidates haven’t had to deal with ‘spoils’ because they haven’t run a government.

If Walker made this spoils system worse - that’s bad; conversely if he made it better- that’s good.
Not as good as eliminating it of course.
