I suppose one could do such a thing. But why? LOL.

Daily carry piece is the XDS in .45. Nothing fancy, just solid, reliable, and 6 rounds of 78 grain 1900 fps DRT.

Well,we tried to like a Kahr P380, but even after a trip back to the mfr., the damned thing wouldn’t run a single six shot mag w/o a malf. We bought both a Sig 238 and a Glock 42. the Sig is simply the best of the lot. Guess we will have to look at the 938 (and the Glock 43).

And the winner was?? I wanted to find out how my (previous) weapons scored. But, you know, after that terrible boating accident, the question is moot.

I hate it when sites do this!!!

If it can’t be drawn and used smoothly in a critical situation it might as well be a paperweight.

I hear that a 454 Ruger Super Redhawk makes a great paperweight. Nice and heavy to keep even a hurricane force wind from scattering your papers, and helpful if a bear decides to break into your office. I'm not sure the word "smooth" could be applied to using it.

I was surprised how well the Walther did out of the box. My first two boxes showed the firearm was very tight and FTEs occurred. Since then, it has been flawless and I agree with their findings. One thing they did not mention, the sights are adjustable but the magazine release is an anomoly.

Bersa’s are fine albeit not tested in this shoot. I have had zero problems with my 380cc with any rounds I have put through it.

I like Walther myself. I attribute their reliability to the fact they have 2 recoil springs, one on each side, or at least, mine does. It never failed on me yet.

Thanks, I didn’t really study the article, it just rubbed me the wrong way. I intended to make the cancellation permanent but after they fired him and made it clear they were going to support the 2nd amendment, I went ahead and subscribed again.

The gun magazines seem to have gotten a little better about lying about gun performance tho it still requires a little reading between the lines.

I remember back in roughly the sixties, I read a report praising the Sterling .22LR to high heaven. Based on that I bought one and it was probably the single worst gun I ever had. It jammed at a 100% rate. It you managed to somehow get a cartridge into the chamber it would never do so again on it’s on.

In my sight, they all look like polymer glokasms.

1911’s are single stack, are they not?
Lugers are single stack, no?

Such is why I stay to ‘j frame-itis’, whether SandW,
Colt, or Taurus. The discussion allows more calibers,
five or six shot, and of course, bullet designs too
unwieldy for semi auto pistols.

I have a Walther PPQ and its very reliable, so I wasn’t surprised the the PPS won overall.

Walther also has a soft shooting 9mm gas recoil reduction gun like the old HK, I think its called the CCP, I don’t know why they didn’t test that. This is a perfect CCW for a woman since the recoil is essentially that of a 22.

I’ve been very happy with my 9mm Shield. Accurate, reliable, conceals well. It’s shot all brass cased stuff I’ve tried with it. I don’t use steel cased ammo in semi auto handguns.

Now my Kahr CW9, which is a nice gun, it’s finicky about ammo. But this week I’ve been to the range 4 times, including this morning trying to determine why all of a sudden I am getting what appear to be so (at first glance) many duds. With 4 different bands of high quality FMJ. I took all of the rounds with the striker mark clearly there, and every single on fired in the Shield.

I am now guessing I will have to disassemble the slide and replace the striker spring. Unless someone here is a Kahr expert and has another suggestion.

I like the ultra slim bersa cc, and for the money its great.
but the Walther is a great gun, a little heavy trigger, but then the PPQ trigger is the best but you pay for it.

I would like a single stack with the PPQ trigger, ultra light and one tenth inch reset.

When shooting the ppq the trigger is so light the sights don’t move, the shot goes off just at the point you expect it to go off and follow up shots live up to the PPQ Police Pistol Quick name. Only thing I don’t like is the cheap sights. But then again no pistol is perfect for everyone.
I like the straight 8 Heine sights, or the Trigicon HD sights, which are almost half the price of some of the cheaper guns tested.

The Bersa can interchange with sig#8 sites but aftermarket grips and a decent holster are scarce
