The vast majority of people who bought health insurance through ObamaCare exchanges are satisfied with their plans, according to a new national survey.
People overwhelmingly said they felt positively about their choices of doctors and hospitals and their copays for appointments and prescriptions, delivering good news for the Obama administration one year into the law's rollout.
More surprisingly, that satisfaction also extended to peoples monthly premiums and annual deductibles, according to data from the Kaiser Family Foundation.
Sixty percent of ObamaCare customers said they were satisfied or very satisfied with their monthly premium costs more than people who bought coverage before the healthcare law went into effect.
Among those who say theyve felt an effect from the healthcare law, people were more likely to say they have been impacted positively than negatively.
Forty percent say theyve benefited, whether through better access to coverage or lower costs. That compares to one-third of people who say theyve been harmed, mostly through increased costs.
The results of the survey, which is one of the most comprehensive to date about health insurance plans offered through the marketplaces, reveal a strong partisan divide that has been evident throughout the law's rollout.
Republicans were far more likely than Democrats to say they were harmed by the law, at a rate of 55 percent to 19 percent.
Regardless of party, medical costs remain a barrier to some under the healthcare law.
The biggest concerns nationally continue to be premiums and deductibles, which multiple reports warn are rising, even with the laws insurance rules.
Another study out this week found that at least 31 million people had to pay so much for deductibles and copays that they are considered underinsured a figure that has doubled in the last decade.
Four in 10 people with Affordable Care Act-compliant plans say they are concerned with healthcare costs, according to the Kaiser Family Foundation study.
Nearly one-fifth said theyve had problems paying bills in the last year, sometimes forgoing medication or treatment.
I’d be happy too, if someone else was paying the bulk of my insurance premium
I’m sure most of the gibsmedats are satisfied.
No its not cooked. Its welfare. So the gimme guys and gals love it.
Three out of four aren’t paying any premiums.
“...Republicans were far more likely than Democrats to say they were harmed by the law, at a rate of 55 percent to 19 percent...”
That’s because the republicans mostly all work and make money therefor they have to pay the higher premiums whereas the democrats get the big subsidies.
And 3/4 of the people are satisfied with their food stamps, Obamaphones, and welfare.
They obviously didn’t survey the millions who have their insurance cut back and premiums increase.
Yeah, but what about the one in four that is NOT satisfied? What’s being done for that person, who has just found out the monthly premium is going UP, and the plan has not provided one benefit? Or probably worse, the “benefit” is there, but the co-pays come to more than never having the plan in the first place, and having to pay out-of-pocket AND the penalties assessed as well.
Some things are just not a bargain at any price. Folks are starting to realize that.
Once again BULL ESCREMENT!
What a bunch of gobbledegook!
But 0bamacare IS working insomuch as we’re that much closer to Nationalized Healthcare - which was always the end goal, even back when Hillary! was touting it.
Since 80% are on Medicaid or receive subsidies, 3/4 seems about right.
This includes the free loaders
“according to data from the Kaiser Family Foundation.”
Stop the presses right there. The Kaiser family foundation foundation has been a known liberal SHILL for obamacare right from the very beginning. This isnt the first time theyve pulled out a phony and fixed survey/study out of their butts showing how wonderful obamacare is and how much most people like it. No doubt this wont be the last time either.

Cooked.
They must have polled CONgrease persons.
Since the majority are on expanded Medicaid, why would this be a surprise?
Since I am self-employed, I had to get an ObamaCare policy.
So far, I don’t mind saying that the policy itself has been satisfactory in that I did not have to change doctors, my out of pocket costs are in line with expectations, and so forth.
On the other hand, the premium is astronomical. Since I don’t qualify for a subsidy, the premium for my wife and me runs $15000 per year. That’s about 80% higher than my previous coverage.
I have not doubt about the veracity of this survey, but only because about 85% of ObamaCare policyholders get subsidized by taxpayers. It’s kind of like Medicare: the coverage isn’t bad if you can get the taxpayers to pay for it.
How many of that majority can afford to get sick considering the deductibles which have to be met? In general the “insurance” (if you want to call it that) is for check ups and screenings and free contraceptives.
If one cannot afford to pay enormous deductibles for illness there is no insurance.
It’s from Kaiser. What else would they say other than HAPPY DAYS ARE HERE AGAIN, THANK YOU OBAMA!
