ISIS seizes large weapons arsenal abandoned by Iraqi Army in Ramadi says US Department of Defense

The US Department of Defense “Pentagon” accused the Iraqi army of leaving behind large quantities of weapons and ammunition when it pulled out of the city of Ramadi on Sunday. The weapons, which have been seized by ISIS, include tanks, armored vehicles and heavy guns.

After the fall of the city of Mosul at the hands of ISIS last June, the latter have seized massive amounts of American weapons and sophisticated gear left by the Iraqi army. After this date ISIS became stronger; it doubled its strength and its fighters became roaming by “Humvee” vehicles and American tanks and they sent a large portion of these weapons to ISIS elements in Syria as well.

What happened in Mosul is repeated now in Ramadi, according to the US Department of Defense. The Pentagon published a statement in which it accused the Iraqi army that it left behind, during its withdrawal from Ramadi, six tanks mostly usable, and a similar number of heavy guns, along with dozens of personnel carriers, and nearly 100 “Humvee” armored vehicles, in addition to unknown quantities of medium and heavy ammunition.

By design.

That sure as hell didn’t happen at Chosin. But look, over there! Vietnam and, AND, DEMOCRATS of the winter soldier persuasion. Since then the communists also known as Democrats have been undermining at every damn turn.

“I can’t for the life of me figure out why we do not immediately send in air strikes to destroy all the equipment left behind. It’s warfare 101.’

After 6+ years of our Fraud “president” taking every position against America, people here seem to still be unnecessarily perplexed.

That’s what I was thinking. Or some implanted GPS so the drones can find them before the weapons are distributed.

Where were our drones?

Maybe they were busy spying on our allies.

Obama’s playing Isis exactly the same way he did the protesters in Ferguson and Baltimore...”Let them have their way”......he is not going to get his hands dirty.

Baraq Osama transfers more U.S. weaponry to ISIS via the Iraqi Army. It’s time our Congress start SERIOUSLY questioning whose side the CIC is on.

So the correct conclusion is that the US is really not at war with ISIS.

Note what Canada is doing. PM Harper sent units of the RCAF to Northern Iraq to fly for the Kurds, and special forces to help with training the Kurds exclusively. The RCAF have their own tankers and intelligence aircraft. They are undoubtedly coordinating with the US but they are operating independent of the US, Iraq, and especially Iran. The Kurds are holding on.

Meanwhile ISIS is marching south towards Baghdad. Are we to believe that US air assets can't decimate this "JV team"? Why aren't they doing it?

Sort of reminds me of Baltimore and how Obama handled that....just leave them go...no skin off his nose. He’s not going to have to pick up the mess...all he has to do is stall til the end of his term...

Where were the A-10’s?

Where was American air power during the parade?

The Muslim in Chief is fighting against us.

I’d love to have the Iraqi army be on the same level as ARVN.

ARVN only folded when it was clear the US wasn’t going to resupply them. Even the NVA was shocked at how a minor land grab offensive turned into conquest.

The Iraqis don’t even bother to fight them, they just abandon entire cities!

Yep, This is going to plan. There was a long column of ISIS light personnel carriers (pickups) going into Ramadi.

Not sure why we could not have hit the first one, the last one and all points between. Other that the face that Obama said no, let them have Ramadi. No reason.

Last couple days have been way too overcast.. I hear ya.

Climate change lies just ahead.

Obammy declares Earth a disaster zone.

Mandatory evacuation or else in effect July 4th, 2020.

IN the mean time, another rack of ribs and a frosty mug

Will just have to do.

What do they think this is, US Marines fleeing an embassy and leaving weapons behind?
