“Most of the bikers I know would be the first to rise up with rednecks like me to defend. Most of them are not criminal beyond being a bit wild and wooly. And many of them are vets - combat vets.”

And that right there is why bikers must be subdued.

Do you imagine that 99%ers are not being psychologically affected/conditioned by this ‘show of force’?

You bet they are.

They were predicting 800,000 for Rolling Thunder XXVIII, this weekend.

I wonder how many will show, now?

Naw. That might be the plan, but the result just might surprise them. Bikers are a lot like rednecks... You can push to 'oh, hell no!', but that's as far as they'll back up. And they won't_back_down. And they won't run. There'll just be a hell of a lot more comin'.

Hard tellin' because they just might leave their old ladies home... But if they have the salt in them that I think (know) they do, maybe 1.2m... That's a bit low, but only because it is hard to get west-of-the-Mississippi over there in time... Even for Bikers... Otherwise I bet they'd shut the place down. ;)

Push don't shove. Not no more. Betcha.

Then again, they might just decide to move the whole event to Waco ; )
