Since announcing her presidential run a month ago, Hillary Clinton has rarely taken questions from the media. It’s gotten so bad that the New York Times has taken to asking hypothetical questions for when she does start answering; and the Washington Post has begun counting the minutes since her last media conversation.
Her reluctance to answer questions has been underscored by ongoing controversies surrounding foreign donations to the Clinton Foundation and her use of faulty intel from an ally with business interests in Libya, among others.
And then on Tuesday afternoon, while taking questions from supporters at a Cedar Rapids, Iowa, campaign stop, this happened:

This reminds me of an old Dobie Gillis episode when Maynard G. Krebs was trying to pass as an eminent scientist. Whenever he was asked a hard question, all he had to do was hold on to his lapels and say:
“Let me think about that in depth...hmmmmm...”
and walk away.

It should be obvious to anyone that the reason Hillary has avoided questions is, quite simply, that she believes that she can get elected without doing so. The follow up point if that she believes that precisely because the main stream media (NY Times, Wash Post, etc.) has allowed her to get away with it in the past. And now they’re shocked, shocked I tell you, that she expects to get away with it once again. Shocked...

No wonder she doesn’t answer questions, she looks terrified.
This could be a fun election, watching her self-destruct.
No problemo, the press will write adoring fictional screens about Hillary and support her wholeheartedly anyway, being too stupid too realize that if she wins without press interviews, she’s established a winning precedent that makes them irrelevant.

I wonder when the leadership of the dems will conclude that she is so corrupted that even they cannot stomach the purulence she is peddling. When will they finally decide the volume and quality and quantity of her lies are simply too burdensome for the evil party to endorce.
