Bill O’Reilly Says Domestic Violence Allegations Are ‘100 Percent False’

The Fox News host issued a statement to TheWrap through his personal attorney Fred Newman on Monday saying, "All allegations against me in these circumstances are 100% false. I am going to respect the court-mandated confidentiality put in place to protect my children and will not comment any further."

Media website Gawker reported that O'Reilly had been accused of physical assault during a three-year custody battle with his ex-wife, Maureen McPhilmy.

Though most of the documents are sealed, Gawker reported that "a source familiar with the facts of the case" revealed that "a court-appointed forensic examiner testified at a closed hearing that O'Reilly's daughter claimed to have witnessed her father dragging McPhilmy down a staircase by her neck, apparently unaware that the daughter was watching."

The incident is believed to have occurred at the couple's Manhasset, New York, home at some point prior to their separation in 2010. The couple also has an 11-year-old son Spencer.

O'Reilly and McPhilmy went through a bitter custody battle following their 2011 divorce. McPhilmy ended up winning custody of their two minor children three weeks ago.

This isn't the first time "The O'Reilly Factor" host has been dogged by controversy. In 2004, he was sued for sexual harassment by former producer, Andrea Mackris. The case was eventually settled out of court for an undisclosed amount.

LOL!

And his one novel about which he stated, “If there’s a decent word in there it’s because I missed it!”

$9 million. I have a friend of a friend in the law firm that defended Ted. Nuff said. :-)

Initially he and the wife agreed to shared custody, with a court appointed therapist to referee any disputes. Apparently Bill couldn't leave well enough alone.

So he hired the therapist to watch his kids. What is a wife suppose to do when she sees her wealthy husband paying the therapist to be on his side?

And to top it off he actually goes to church officials because his wife wife is receiving communion at church. Technically I guess she's not suppose to because she remarried without getting an annulment, but it's so petty and a sign of a true hothead with a baby mentality.

I think she got sick of his power plays and played hardball back at him.

I’m sure that $9 million payout had something to do with his wife’s search for a new husband.

No, the daughter did not testify to that. Someone said she witnessed it. Big difference.
