I couldn’t agree more!!! What is the correct response to this? Is it impeachment? I don’t know the answer, but assume they will just do the right thing isn’t enough.

“So, in essence, the 14th amendment nullified the Constitution, ...”

Well, it nullified any legal standing to the federalist ideas of the Founding Fathers.

36 ... 1. Which two lesbians? (Sotomayor was married to a man and is now divorced.) ...

3. I may be mistaken, but I do not believe Sotomayor has performed any same-sex wedding ceremonies.

9/22/2014 CBS - Supreme Court justice (Kagan) performs her first same-sex wedding

I knew Kagan performed a same-sex wedding. I do not believe Sotomayor did. And there are not two lesbians on the Supreme Court.

Well, that ruined “Mr. Sandman” forever.

She’s an old coot who should have stepped down eons ago.

What an ass you are. I’ve been in theater for over 40 years. I was talking to the general FR community who has no idea what goes on in today’s culture.

I have spent years here encouraging families to take back theater from the gays - especially in high schools. Almost everybody in America who goes on to professional theater gets the kick from high school. Try to find one freeper who will let their kid audition for the school play or musical because of their silly fear of homosexuality catching. Taking back the beauty of the culture starts at the lowest level. But it will not happen in my lifetime.

That would require honesty.

Irony she preaches against racism when she is the one advocating women to abort if they have a negro child.

Isn’t then homosexual marriage a hypocritical extention of having sex with someone you do not want kids with or of?

Abortion and homosexuality are based in slavery and violate many amendments of the Constitution/BillofRight.

A white woman’s womb is not a plantation to dispose of unwanted negro children, and marriage is not an institution of sex with a person you do not make a child with, simply because you want to have it with another person of another color.

But she mentions constitution, like a hypocrite whore.

I appreciate what you’re doing, esp. after seeing your profile.

Recently, Max McLean’s “The Screwtape Letters” came to Florida. We saw him do a Q&A personally after the show.

greatdivorceonstage.com is his newest production.

Thanks for being a light in a dark world! :)

Doesn’t this old croak otherwise think the Constitution is an anachronism?

Bless you! Keep up your interest in theater - fight for what is best (meaning beauty and truth) and don’t let the hedonists and homos destroy your love/or appreciation of culture.

When the states ratified the Constitution, was gay “marriage” a right?

When the states ratified the Constitution, Sodomy was a death penalty offense. They generally hanged them.

Genoa writes: The witch knows she has a bias and she just doesn’t care. To her, the Constitution is what she says it is. She has absolute power with no accountability. (I would say that about the federal judiciary in general, actually.)

To Nero Germanicus:
You should probably peruse this thread to get a taste for what *MOST* conservatives think of the Judiciary.

So, in essence, the 14th amendment nullified the Constitution, and we’re now ruled by an oligarchy of 5 judges, with the facade of a democratic republic to give them legitimacy.

Well, since Roosevelt anyways.

Why not, I was told just last week by a Freeper that he considers us all citizens of the world.

No joke.

To hell with stare decisis and precedent, the left doesn't care about it, and we need to stop caring about it. Any politician that spouts drivel about not having a litmus test needs to be immediately disqualified from consideration.

This thread is a treasure trove of conservative opinion regarding the Judiciary.

No actually. Consider the flip side, if another judge performed a normal marriage, should they recuse themselves because of bias on the normal side?

Biased towards normalcy? There is *SUPPOSED* to be bias towards normalcy. It's called "sanity."

No, the converse argument does not work. Your theory hinges on the foundation that sickness and weirdity are socially and morally equivalent to normalcy.

In theory the 14th Amendment could be repealed and replaced with a better one, but that’s an utter pipe dream.

The 14th amendment, poorly thought out and coerced into existence, has been the most abused amendment in history.
