Arrests made in alleged plan to use rocket launcher to bomb Eustis Police Department
Orlando Sentinel ^ | May 18, 2015 | By Bethany Rodgers

Marion County authorities said today that at least two men were arrested and more than 20 weapons confiscated after law enforcement received word of a plot to attack the Eustis Police Department with a rocket launcher.

An informant reported that individuals planned to hit the police department with a rocket-propelled grenade launcher today, according to Marion County sheriff's Capt. James Pogue. The individuals were targeting the Eustis department because of recent "run-ins" with officers in the Lake County city, Pogue said.

The informant also claimed that the rocket launcher and "missiles" were being kept in a safe at a Marion County property, Pogue said. In a search of the home's shed, detectives found 22 firearms, several containers of black powder, more than a pound of marijuana, powdered and crack cocaine, prescription pills, scales, two bulletproof vests and other drugs.

They arrested at least two men early Saturday, Pogue said. Christopher Conger, 32, is charged with seven criminal counts and Jeremy Robertson, 29, faces eight counts. The alleged offenses include possession of cocaine with intent to sell, grand theft of a firearm, using or displaying a firearm during a felony and wearing a bulletproof vest during certain offenses. . .

And where's the "rocket launcher?

Methinks possibly someone just knocked out some of their competition. Or someone needed "probable cause".

Who knows. Three foot perimeter rules. d:^)

Yeah, interesting, huh? Sounds like someone wanted to get these two into some trouble.
I also note that they were previously arrested for wearing bullet proof vests while committing felonies. More proof that center of mass isn’t the only practice necessary.

Either one more likely than the possibility that anyone was actually planning an attack.

What type of rocket-propelled grenade launcher did they have?

You’d think with this type of armament they would have handed out pics to the world media.

Very odd.

Much scarier Indeed. They look like seriously evil guys!

Their arsenal was a little scarey too, considering what they wanted to use it for.
