Chris Wallace interviews Marco Rubio
May 17, 2015 | Self

Today Chris Wallace was at his partisan worst when he repeatedly asked Rubio an argumentative and moot question in an obvious and sustained effort to make him (Rubio) visibly angry. Good for Rubio that he didn’t take the bait. The question is “Knowing that WMD didn’t exist, was it a mistake for GWB to go to war in Iraq (Gulf II)?”. The question is based on a false premise. We know Sadam had WMD because he used it on Iranians and the Kurds. Media types fixate on the idea that large quantities were not found in the aftermath of Gulf II. Some of it was found and more important Colin Powell stated at the United Nations that the WMD could be evacuated before we get there to search for it. Gen. Powell was prescient. Rubio pointed out that no president can make decisions based on what he’s going to know in the future. It isn’t possible.

Republican reap a harvest of bogus questions because they don’t correct the false narratives fabricated by leftist mouths and press. Records need be corrected in real time.

H.J. Res. 114 (To authorize the use of United States Armed Forces against Iraq. 2002/01/23), recites a laundry list of grievances that the United States and the U.N. had against Sadam not all of them related to WMD. Sadam didn’t keep the cease fire agreement ending Gulf I, was an ongoing threat to world peace, and continued to support international terrorism.

Yes Wallace was aweful.

But Rubio was really bad too.

He is clearly nowhere near ready for prime time.

FoxNews has a history of hiring from the more liberal CNN, MSNBC, and other alphabets.

When the new hires come on, they try to show themselves are more mid-stream, but they don't always succeed. They know they can't just spout the same liberalism and Dem talkingpoints they had done at previous employments.

Wallace frequently slips back to the liberal side.

More recently, I have been watching Howard Kurtz on his Media program on FoxNews on Sunday morning. Kurtz tries to be a middle-of-the-roader, but he, too, slips back to the liberal side frequently.

They claim that their being 'journalists' give them license. It does, to a point, but spouting liberalism and Dem talkingpoints is not journalism, it is propaganda.

You are of course right on all counts. With the possible exception of “amnesty”, depending on how tortured the definition is.

Rubio didn't even stumble for a moment.....he's not my choice, Walker is, but I gained a LOT of respect for Rubio in that interview.....he never even hesitated!!!!
