To many, the death sentence almost feels like a blot on the city’s collective consciousness.”

...I stopped here. Commie writing about commies who don’t want to mar their communist ways.

This is unbelievable. I agree with you, I have not talked to one single person who thinks there is something wrong with putting down this dog.

I am telling you people on FR, this is all BS. It is all crap. This is NOT how people feel up here.

They probably went over to Frikking Brandeis University to get their input, and that was good enough for them. But pretty much any university, and I will bet they spent a lot of time around those getting “opinions” feel the same way the NYT feels.

It is discouraging to see people who should know better just take the output from the New York Times and run with it as if it is the God’s honest truth. They rightfully want to rake the NYT and Boston Globe over the coals when they disagree with the paper, but if it fits their template of Massholes, then they accept it as truth.

It simply isn’t.

Tsarnaev’s death sentence made me feel warm/fuzzy all over! To be sure, we need more death sentences for terrorists. How did Jackie Gleason used to put it? “How sweet it is!”

This is another thread, about another article exactly like this one, from another liberal POS.

Same thing. I am telling you, it is a concerted effort. Remember, people, if they are liberals and their lips are moving, they are lying. Or slandering.

If a person believed the New York Times they would think the only people who lived in Boston were guilty white liberal (bleeding heart) elites.

Of course most people have grown up enough to know the New York Times is biased in favor of people who think just like the people in their newsroom.

So, this story puts forth a lie... there really are people in Boston who believe justice was done... and they’re happy about that.... ( the jury wasn’t made up of people from Mississippi was it?)

It isn’t amazing to me the jury got it right...as I have said, most people think the guy should die. I say this from talking to “normal” people, that is friends, acquaintances, co-workers, people in general.

This meme from liberals that people wringing their hands is being advanced for a reason.

Personally, I don’t take joy in having someone sentenced to death. But because I am not whooping and hollering doesn’t mean I don’t think it is richly deserved and 100% appropriate.

I don’t know where the NYT got its statistics from, but it is all horse-hooey.

“Just yet another story to invent public opinion.”.....

Well MY public opinion is hang the little bastard and be done with it. Send a message to the muzzies that we will not tolerate their crap in this country.

Exactly. See my post at#27.

This is distressing to see people taking the NYT at FACE VALUE (when the heck does ANYONE on this forum EVER do that? Why now, because it fits the template of Massholes who deserve to stew in their own juices?

I understand people feeling that way about the state that gives the country the likes of Ted Kennedy, Barney Frank, and too many others to list.

But the “fact” put out by the NYT that people are wringing their hands up here over it simply is NOT the truth.

I don’t doubt that there are people wringing their hands, but it is by NO means universal, even amongst liberals.

The NYTimes and Boston Globe are actually on
suicide watch, because the People want the
Islamic terrorist put to Hell, yesterday.

Not only that but this garbage narrative I’ve seen elsewhere about the verdict being “vengeance”.
HE PAYING FOR HIS CRIMES.
What about this other kook who says only China and the U.S. kill people this way anymore.
I guess that may be true as we tried and convicted this dirtbag and then sentenced him, as opposed to burning him alive in a cage or trotting him off beachside for a head chop once labeled an infidel
I’m laughing at the superior intellect once again..

The Masshole libtards think it is unfair to execute that murdering Muzzie ... cause he is so much like one of them!

So you accept the authority of the NYT in this and all matters?

Leave it to the nytimes to say that. You know they have sympathy for him because he’s an ‘oppressed’ non-Christian.

Regarding the jury getting it right, I’m a little surprised a Massachusetts jury came up with this decision because it only takes ONE out of twelve to block it

Oh I doubt many Freepers believe the NYT tripe. While there probably are some left wing pansies in Bosto. who agree with the sentiments in the “article,” most of us know the NYT is just spewing left wing talking points.

An article so insightful it required three creative writing types to contrive....

Thank you. It is so clearly another in the swarm of press releases that began immediately on the sentencing to move the court of public opinion to overthrow it.

It absolutely boggles the mind how many people let the sick little bastards in the media spoonfeed them dogsh!t and instead of seeing it for what it is, turn in accusation of their neighbors like puppets on a string.

Ever heard of "divide and conquer", o enlightened "conservatives"? Everyone says he wouldn't wrap a fish with the NYT and then prostrates himself in obeisance to its declarations and innuendos.

I think I see some familiar faces:
