They don’t care just so long as they get their campaign cash.

“Presidential candidate Sen. Marco Rubio told FOX News Sunday host Chris Wallace he still believe in comprehensive immigration reform”

Well, like Jebbie, Rubio admits it and I appreciate that. I prefer that to lying about it (like he did in his Senate run) and then doublecross us after the election.

If either Jebbie or Rubio is the nominee, I won’t vote Republican. Let the “lesser of two evils” crowd descend on me. I don’t care.

Yes. That is the orientation I was born with and I can’t change it. I must also remind you that any discrimination based on unchangeable orientations is a hate crime in all fifty states.

Crap, I have to go through this again. Oh well, here I go:

“Rubio acknowledged former House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Virginia) “partially lost” the Republican primary in 2014 because of his support for comprehensive immigration reform.”

A sitting HOUSE MAJORITY LEADER does not just lose a simple Primary. The Establishment and others are still trying to blame it on his ‘constituent service’, meaning that he wasn’t responsive enough to granny who didn’t get her Social Security check last month. Sorry but EVERY LEADER, of either party, will have the same types of problems - if you want to be a leader, you have to work the entire country, not just one small district. But other leaders have NEVER lost a PRIMARY because of it...not in the past 100 years, at least. Obviously there’s more to it.

“The problem is the votes aren’t there in the House”

In other words, if the votes were there, then it would be ok to DESTROY THE COUNTRY by flooding it with people south of the border who cannot even speak English. Do you REALLY mean what you’re saying, Rubio?

“Rubio also surprisingly said there is support for comprehensive immigration reform, but Congressmen and women “are going to vote based on what they’re hearing from their constituents and others.””

That’s scary. One would HOPE that ‘support’ is defined by what the CONSTITUENTS want, rather than what Karl Rove wants - but it appears, at least to Rubio, that Karl Rove is more important...at least regarding this issue.

“Clearly leaders stand for the idea you need to do something...”

That’s probably true, BUT WHY? President Bush started pushing this crap nearly a decade ago. We pushed back, nothing happened. Did the world end? No. How about we wait until Cruz takes office? Why the hurry to get it done with Obama and Pelosi?...unless you have other objectives in mind.

He really does seem to me more upset that “the votes aren’t there” than anything else. Give him the votes, and he’ll sell out this country in a heartbeat...apparently.

This guy is a LOST CAUSE, and there was a thread yesterday showing how he was ALWAYS for Open Borders, except when it came time to get elected to the Senate. But now that he’s there, he’s fine going back to who he was.

I w0uld like to see more of Ted Cruz on these shows. Chris Wallace would be slayed if he treated Cruz like that. Hope it happens soon.

Makes for quite an alibi -- and he gets to blame the Tea Party for helping boot Eric Cantor. FAIL. Thanks Jim Robinson.

Your race is not disappearing but moving from outright majority to just a plurality of the total population.

Thank you for giving permission to “your race” (my race) to live in our country that we built and prospered.

Gee, no sh$t Sherlock. They are SUPPOSED to listen to their constituents. It is a REPRESENTATIVE government. Or, at least it used to be... What a maroon...

It’s not “kool aid” to think that black, Asian and Hispanic citizens are good Americans worth converting to the conservative cause. We are all children of God, after all, and equal in His eyes.

The problem with our country is not that it’s less white. The problem is that it’s less conservative. We can pull them over to our side. We *need* to pull them over to our side, but that’s made much more difficult when they come here and read about the country is doomed because there aren’t enough white people in it.

Please, don’t reinforce the stupid Leftist talking point that “conservative = racist”. We can kill that meme if we stop feeding it.

You honestly think “they” read this site, when most can’t even read in their native language. The only non-white country where its people don’t want to leave and go to a white country is Japan. Have you ever read history at all? Have you ever read sociological studies about how mass immigration is effecting this country? Why don’t you take your evangelism to California a see what kind of success you can achieve. What is going on in California presages what is in store for this country. Read Victor Davis Hanson writings, and please don’t come out with your racist accusation crap when you respond to him.

I’ll make you a deal; you stop posting racist crap, and I’ll stop calling you on it.

Blacks, Asians and Hispanics helped make this country great, and together we can all do it again. That is, if they haven’t been scared away from conservatism by those who don’t want to live in America if it isn’t sufficiently white.

Real conservatism isn’t racist. Your posts read like a leftist parody of Free Republic.

Well, friend, you don’t “call” me out on a damn thing. I know what racism is, and I know what idiocy is, and I don’t post idiocy.

You sure know your racism, all right.

Look, you would have been better off just admitting that you made a mistake. We’ve all posted things that didn’t come out the way we wanted. Because if you really think that declining numbers of whites mean “(t)his country is, basically, over”, then you’re doing the Left’s job for it.

See, there, proved my own point.

I meant declining *percentages* of whites. Not numbers.

I didn’t make a mistake. What I posted I meant. You need to read “Huntington’s Warning” which you can google. Huntington writes about America’s elected leaders “deconstructing”, for the first time in world history, the nation they were elected to preserve. They will always be people here, of course, but the traditional America will become just another third world hell hole, just like the countries the immigrants are coming from. If Jeb Bush’s Hispanic “aspirational youths” can’t make their own country great where they are, how can they make the United States great? You and Jeb Bush are the only ones who can maintain that irrational belief. And, by the way, I remain totally unmoved by your charges of racism, which is a ploy liberals use when they can’t mount an argument in their defense. Americans have the right to argue for the continuance of their culture the way they inherited it and are not under any obligation to change it. If the United States would implement the Mexican laws on immigration, we would not have a problem. Are the Mexicans racist for implementing their very strict immigration policies?
