I encourage individual states to include the firing squad as an optional means of execution in every death sentence. It solves many problems associated with whimsical federal judges attacking the means of execution, and is overall much harder to appeal.

The first recorded execution in Massachusetts was John Billington, executed by hanging in September, 1630, in Plymouth for murder. The last executions were Philip Bellino and Edward Gertson in May, 1947, for the murder of Robert Williams, a U.S. Marine. None since then. I don’t think this terrorist has to worry about swift justice from the People’s Republic of Massachusetts.

It'll be decades of appeals and millions of taxpayer $$$ for his defense before he's ever put to death, if he ever is.
The best solution is for an anonymous source to offer a bounty paid to the family of any inmate who gets rid of this guy...........
