So how did Microsoft fare with the Zune, after saying the Apple iPod would flop? They said the iPhone would flop, then copied with the Microsoft Phone, so how is that going? They said the iPad would flop, now there is the Microsoft Surface, not going anywhere. Now they're knocking the Apple Watch despite millions being sold, and soon Microsoft will announce the Microsoft Watch. That company should be called the Micro-thinker company, because they sure copy Apple after saying Apple's stuff won't sell. (Add the empty Microsoft Stores and you see a pattern of copying Apple.)
WOW , that’s even cattier than I expected... To answer your question Microsoft has always been a copier and not an innovator ,, going back to DOS V1.0 ... their only real success has been a gaming console.
That said ,,, the “gotta have the new toy” bunch is the only group I see buying the iWatch ... I saw a TV ad today for the watch ,, actually had a few shots of it being used as a watch (you can pick a Mickey Mouse face!) but my biggest takeaway was that NOWHERE in the ad was it stated or inferred that the iWatch is only a leech piggybacking on an iPhone ,, the entire add showed it as a standalone unit ...
