Former Texas Gov. Rick Perry will announce his expected entry into the crowded GOP presidential field on June 4 in Dallas.
Anita Thigpen Perry, his wife, emailed an invitation on Friday to supporters of the former governor’s political committee.
“America is facing a time of testing, and it's clear that we need principled leadership and an optimistic vision to see us through after eight years of the Obama Administration,” she wrote. “Rick and I have been talking a lot about what the future holds for our great country, and the role our family can play in creating an America of unlimited opportunity for our children and grandchildren. We are so excited to share our decision with you, and hope you will join us on June 4th in Dallas for a major announcement!”

I have nothing against Perry beyond his occasional cringe inducing gaffs but we don’t need a whole lot more candidates confusing the matter who haven’t a ghost of a chance. You listening Chris Christie, Donald Trump.
Perry’s chance was 2012 - but he wasn’t ready and missed it. Things happen.
Not the worst choice but not the best either. He had his chance to smoke the field in 2012 and failed miserably. He’s simply unnecessary this time, as is Huckabee, Neither a new face nor compelling.
Three weeks?
WTH? That gives plenty of time for five or six more RINO’s to throw their hats in the ring.
This is going to be a circus. The RINO’s are the clowns.
Maybe we will final figure out how they get all those clowns in that little bitty car.
He has three reasons he’s going to run.

We were long done with him as Gov. Fairweather in Texas so it’ll be a cold day before he gets my vote for anything more than dogcatcher.
On the bright side, his presence will surely add levity to the debates.

And he only made a complete fool of himself in the debates because he was on pain meds. His paid supporters said so.
He will be different this time around. He will be better. Millions of ILLEGAL aliens are depending on him. You will see.
I do see! Right now across the street a crew of his supporters are laying a foundation. Last week a crew of his supporters leveled the property.
I would guess next week a crew of his supporters will frame the house, another crew of his supporters will plumb it, another crew of his supporters will roof it, another crew of his supporters will landscape it and henceforth, another crew of his supporters will maintain the property.
Total count, about 100 under the table employed Perry supporters from Mexico, 95 citizens unemployed in the awesomely recovering economy and probably 5 foremen on the books.
Lesser evil voters are garbage.
