Nelson County Sheriff Ed Mattingly stated bluntly Monday that officials were “glad” that a man who was shot by a deputy was “white,” adding that though they “shouldn’t have to be worried about that,” they didn’t want “backlash or violence” due to the public being “misinformed” by the media.
In a joint press conference Monday with Bardstown Police Chief Rick McCubbin about the shooting of John Kennedy Fenwick, 25, over the weekend, Sheriff Mattingly said candidly that they couldn't help but "take notice" of the mishandling of police-involved shooting cases by media outlets and were "glad" they wouldn’t have to deal with "misinformed" backlash due to racial implications.

So arrest them as accomplices and go to trial.

No, the media doesn’t have an agenda, not at all. George Soros is smiling somewhere.
I am sure his family and friends don’t find that comment comforting. Prayers to the friends and family of this horrible senseless tragedy. Yay they killed “Whitey”. How sad it is getting in the US.

I know just a TV show but I have a feeling that the Raylon kinfolk in “Justified” would be taking umbrage at the sheriff for that statement and show them that “WHITE lives do matter”.
Yep, Papa Givens, Boyd Crowder and Ava’s family along with the Bennett Clan would be ready to whup some ass along with them. Limehouse would probably toss a grenade or two also.
