Not only did The Ed Show hit a new low of 30K viewers in the 25-54 demo on Wednesday, but MSNBC had its lowest total day ratings in close to 10 years with 49K average viewers in the demo over the course of the day. The last time MSNBC saw demo ratings this low was on July 20, 2005 when it had 45K in total day.
In primetime, MSNBC also came in third place with just 76K in the demo compared to 337K for Fox News and 196K for CNN.

Wait, 76,000 people watching MSNBC? You mean, there is more people watching an OhioState/Michigan or Florida/FSU football games then watching them? They need viewers, I guess Obama will ask Congress for the ‘MSNBC Required Viewing Act’ that all TVs sold will be programmed to go to MSNBC when you want Fox News.

None. I am shocked by the ignorance of most of America in regards to ratings. A very small part of the population has anything to do with what is renewed and what is cancelled. It is called the Nielsen Family and if you are not one, it doesn’t matter who long you watch TV, you don’t count.
Neilson ratings are from the past. All the cable providers know what people watch and when they watch.
Neilson ratings are prehistoric now.
Given that they are the Obama cheer leading channel and Obama admin is in its 7th year its not surprising that few find it worth watching.
