Fox News Poll: Huckabee seen as more ethical than most, Clinton less
Fox News ^ | 05/14/2015 | Dana Blanton

Hillary Clinton wins! Except this is one race she’d rather lose. The former secretary of state and current presidential aspirant tops the list as being “less ethical” than other politicians.

GOP candidate and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee is on top as being “more ethical” than others.

That’s according to the latest Fox News poll that asks voters to rate several announced and unannounced 2016 contenders as being more or less ethical than “most other politicians.”

Some 44 percent of voters think Clinton is less ethical than the typical politician. She’s followed by New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie at 37 percent “less ethical.”

On the other side, Huckabee (36 percent “more ethical”) and Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul (33 percent “more ethical”) are each considered more ethical than the average politician by about one third of voters.

The poll also finds that more than a third of voters (37 percent) are “very” concerned scandals would disrupt a Hillary Clinton administration if she were to win. That’s about twice as many as feel that way if a Republican were to win the White House (19 percent).

Still, more than half are at least somewhat worried scandals would have a “serious effect” on either a Clinton (61 percent) or a Republican administration (51 percent).

Just over half of voters are following news about the Clinton Foundation accepting financial donations from foreign governments while Clinton was secretary of state. Among only those following the news, 74 percent are worried about scandals if Clinton wins.

Overall, a 57 percent majority says it is likely Clinton was influenced by foreign contributors while she was at the State Department.

In America today, being ethical means absolutely NOTHING! You win elections in today’s America by giving away FREE STUFF. Nothing else matters.

Being more ethical than most pols is not difficult.
It's like doing a high jump with the bar laying on the ground.

Well this proves it. Huckster is the bait. FOX is so behind Jeb that it is their intent to fracture and demoralize the votes of the conservative wing of the Republican party.

ETHICAL?!

As Governor of Arkansas, Huckabee fired John Bailey, then the director of Arkansas's state police, [who told] NEWSWEEK that Governor Huckabee's chief of staff and personal lawyer both leaned on him to write a letter officially denying the local prosecutor's request ... seeking help investigating whether [Huckabee's son] David and another teenager had violated state animal-cruelty laws.

One reason Huckabee cited was "I couldn't get you to help me with my son when I had that problem," according to Bailey.

ethical politician?? no such thing

The Huckster says he wants to rid the country of the current tax code and rid ourselves of the IRS. JFK went as far as signing an executive order to do the same and obviously that didn’t work out too well for him. I doubt the Huckster is suicidal but it makes for a good carrot.

Speaking of ethics. The huckabee family overcame their weight issues. Is it ethical of you to keep posting an out of date picture?

Speaking of weight issues, Huckabee attributes his extraordinary weight loss achievement to his rigorous adherence to principles of diet and exercise, the evidence for which consists entirely of Huckabee saying it is so, and media accounts that echo Huckabee’s claim.

The outdated picture was intentionally used to highlight that this Goober did this in 2008 and most assuredly should not drag us through this again in 2016.

Well I voted for Huckabee over McCain in the primary. And McCain didn’t work out too well did he? For that matter, neither did Romney. If Romney had dropped out earlier when it was obvious that he couldn’t win, Huckabeee probably would have won the nomination over McCain and we would have had a different race in 2008.

Huckabee stood a real chance. Romney is the tool that you should blame for splitting the election.

Excuse me? Huck is hawking a fake cure for diabetes and fake treatment for CANCER, all for CAMPAIGN CASH. I can’t think of anything less ethical this side of selling nuclear secrets to Red China.

My point isn't to rehash 2008, which a Huckabee2016 candidacy inevitably will. He harms Cruz (or Walker) and helps Jebby. I smell a "Turdblossom".
