As I have said, I am currently a Cruz supporter. However, whenever I read the ridiculous to libelous things written here about Huckabee, I feel personally attacked. They are attacking me and the people I love and go to church with, and try to serve God with. Huckabee is one my ilk, and I don't appreciate false attacks against my own. He is NOT remotely perfect...nor does he claim to be. Neither am I.

I believe you are right about this. When I look at the post about Huckabee, it is nothing but vile hatred and name calling. Disgusting. I have not decided who to vote for, I am waiting for the debates. I just pray God has mercy on us

you know dude, you may be interested to know that he hasn’t been governor in a long long long time. He’s been a Presidential candidate, a TV commentator, and a failed radio host. He has written a book with classic bubba appeal, God Guns Grits and Gravy. He oozes the huckster TV preacher thing to all who are not washed in the kool aid of Huck.
And in that time, he has also stepped into steaming pile after steaming pile of liberal hucksterism. Most recently, he supported Common Core ARDENTLY.
Then, when his hand was slapped on that, he supported it but under another name, lying his huckster fanny off about it. Then just this week, he finally came out and was fully against Common Core.
Except that I probably qualify as a southern evangelical Christian. I would prefer to say I'm a follower of Jesus, working for the Kingdom. As such, I get a little bit of contempt for pharisees and legalists. I think those kind of people actually drive many folks away from both God - and the political right. You sound like you might just be one of those people driving others away....

While not the conservative I wanted, Romney was better than huckster, McCain, and Obama.
I saw Huckabee recently on TV. He looked very overweight.
McCain isn't running this time.
