It’s feel good legislation that will acccomplish nothing except giving our erstwhile allies, if they can be called such, the opportunity to say “LOOK HERE! We did something to justify the resources we consume!”

Imagine the outcry if the NRA was congratulating themselves for keeping BB guns legal, but banning all other fire arms.

Or if 160 years ago the abolitionists had been excited about banning all slave labor between the hours of 10:00 PM and midnight on Sundays.

This is essentially the same thing.

91% of abortions are performed in the FIRST trimester (e.g. 12 weeks or less), nearly ALL are performed before 20 weeks. This law will only apply to a small fraction of abortions and it is full of so many loopholes that it is unlikely to save any lives.

This is just another "and then you can kill the baby law" designed to assist in fundraising for Big Murder and ProLife, Inc.; it has NOTHING to do with saving any lives and serves to codify abortion "rights" rather than abolish abortion.
