I am not asking you to “trust” anyone. I am asking you to help take our country back from the likes of Jeb Bush, Barack Obama, and Hillary Clinton.
Even Reagan was happy if he got folks to agree with him 80% of the time.
Sit out and be complacent at your own peril
And the dems managed to filibuster and win the cloture vote. Now the wuss that is Mitch has to figure out what to do next. Ted probably saw what was coming and made one of those votes that is meaningless. Why not wait and see what happens next since right now it is dead in the water.
Moreover if that is the one issue you disagree with him on and you will not support him because of the that you too are politically suicidal
I know who I want to vote for.
Posting histories are good for finding an agenda when someone is so ashamed of their agenda they feel a need to hide it.

I said absolutely nothing that indicated I was going to sit out the election. I will vote but not for Bush.
I will vote for Cruz without hesitation.
By logical obversion, if California’s gruesome twosome—Feinswine and Babs—are both voting one way, going the other way, as Cruz did here—hey, I’m still his huckleberry.
Its the Trojan horse amnesty bill wrapped in a phony trade PR cover story.
LOL! :)
Me too.
Please see my post 26.
McConnell was *for this trade deal that nobody read, but even he voted *NO, because it was cloture, and he wanted to be able to bring it up again.
I’m sure you understand that more than I, but you’re absolutely right that cloture is an important procedure, but it is NOT a vote for the legislation.
The Democrats can not get McConnell to adjust it to their satisfaction, so when McConnell caves, then it will be brought up again likely to pass.
laplata, check out Cruz website for an explanation. I bet it will be up by tomorrow.
Thanks, RitaOK.
I understand.
You spoke to this point last night. Supporting Cain, Newt Sarah... always scrambling to find a defense. With Ted Cruz, it’s just too easy-—
McConnell originally voted yes but then switched his vote so he could call for reconsideration.
My bigger gripe is that people are willing to throw in the towel on a rock solid conservative (which Cruz is) over this. It will lead to the final ruination of our country
I know! Cruz turns treading among serpents into a cake walk!
It’s marvelous that he takes it all on without the defensive posture, the acid mouth and the endless platitudes. Brains count. Thx, Vin. :D
I know it was a cloture vote. This is an old political ploy. You allow the bill to be voted upon, which means it only needs 50 votes to pass, You can then decide if your vote is needed for passage. You then have an option to vote no for political optics knowing full well the bill will pass without your vote.
Cruz is a big supporter of more foreign workers. It is the GOPe position.
Thank you for your explanation. I thought this legislation was largely unknown, but for what Obama allowed to be framed up for the senate to vote on, and then Sessions said yesterday that only two senators had read the measure in its entirety. Not comforting, when one already is reluctant to support anything out of this White House. And.... when McConnell also likes it. Yikes.
