I think Hill is sabotaging herself, no help from Bill needed.
He crushed her in South Carolina in ‘08, and she never recovered. Reports were all over the place that he had to have done it on purpose, with his remarks on black voters.
He is such a good actor that he buried her in his discussion about the Clinton Foundation, but can come off looking, acting and sounding like a heart patient so he won’t get in trouble with her.
Bill is just used to being able to say or do whatever he wants and count on the press to cover for him.
I’ve heard talk that Bill really doesn’t want Hillary to become president.
Why?
Because then he would have to move back into the White House. He would be in the fishbowl of the White House again. He wouldn’t be able to come and go as he pleases anymore.
He would have to maintain the fiction that they are a happy family and are a happy couple together. Word has it that they have lived separate lives for many years now.
The activities of the Clinton foundation would be under even more scrutiny if Hillary were president.

My theory is that Bill does not want Hillary to be President because in his mind he will always be better than her and he cannot accept the possibility of her attaining equal status.
I’ve seen this thing in families my entire life. One family member sabotages another family member so they can remain as “Mom’s Favorite” or “The Family Athlete” or “The Great Family Hope”.
It’s a very common issue.
