That was just another use of the idiot phrase: ‘And so it begins’ thing. (I guess it is the in line to use at FR in 2015, it is everywhere!)

I was in Tokyo in late ‘87 when a 6.7 quake hit. Scared the heck out of me. The trains were running again within an hour.

Norm ..could this be at all related to the latest Nepal quake ‘this week’? It was 7.8 I think..but sufficient to bring down more buildings and create havoc again.

The Japan quake was twice the depth the Nepal one was....so the damage will not be as much. Nepal’s was only 6 or 7 miles if I remember right.....which is also why Nepal has severe after shocks and ongoing, perhaps even up to three months i understand possible.

I’m thinking in the early magma years of Earth things were a bit worse for life on Earth.

divers places? Is that a misprint in the KJB, an archaic spelling of diverse, or what?

An archaic spelling. This is the King James version after all.

California is about to have one soon, too. The west coast quake will be in Canadian waters.
A

Thanks for the response. Due to the age of the original KJV translation, I assumed that was the case, but I like to hear it from someone else so I’m not just going on assumption alone.
