Openly gay New York hotelier Mati Weiderpass penned an op-ed this week, lashing out at "gay extremists" for protests surrounding a discussion he hosted with presidential hopeful Ted Cruz in late April.
Weiderpass and longtime gay business partner Ian Reisner are owners of the OUT NYC Hotel and 80 percent of the commercial property in New York's Fire Island Pines, among other properties patronized by the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community. The two ignited large-scale backlash last month when they played hosts to a "fireside chat" with notoriously anti-gay presidential hopeful Sen. Ted Cruz in front of about a dozen people.
Despite apologies from the businessmen, the queer community still organized a protest outside of the OUT NYC hotel in late April. In wake of this, Weiderpass is once again changing his tune surrounding the meeting with Cruz. In a lengthy op-ed published in The New York Observer, the openly gay businessman calls those attacking him on social media "gay extremists."

It’s amusing that while the gays are attacking each other about the conservative ‘threat’, the Muslims they’re ignoring want them dead.

Being against gay marriage is not hating gays or whatever. I do have gay friends. One couple is married. I am torn on the issue and if pressed, I would be in favor. BUT. That’s me and ONLY me. I can be against it because of my religion BUT we don’t live in a theocracy. If it’s right or wrong it is still not up for me to judge. That’s God’s domain. What I don’t agree with is a ham fisted court system that just makes declaration of laws and completely ignore the voting public and existing laws. It never occurs to the liberals that a conservative administration can use the same powers.
I will say this. I am 100% sick and tired of being ruled over by robe wearing tyrants behind a bench and a lawless racist president.

They will never fund or allow such a gene to be found, because even if it was true, they would fear pre-emptive abortion or counseling because people can now know that their child is at risk for developing SSA, and they can’t allow it. FTR, I don’t believe that genetics hardwires behavior, I do believe it might increase the likelihood, though not guarantee, that someone has an increased risk of developing Same-Sex Attraction, such as only select people seem to be at increased risk for actually becoming addicted to alcohol.

Years ago I was told that most of the suicide bombers were homosexual and that by dying in the process of killing enemies was the only way they could get to paradise.
Recently, an article here mentioned that those men selected as bombers were repeatedly raped by their leaders for the same reason.
This is not simply anathema to civilisation, but institutionalised evil at it’s worst.

Ted Cruz Ping! I am not totally disagreeing, but it is not just gay extremists....it is liberal extremists who want to "purge" their ranks of anyone who dares speak to a conservative.
We have that among our own on FR. Walker hired a Romney foreign policy hand that Cruz was courting, but the die-hard Cruz supporters are now saying this means Walker supports RomneyCare and ObamaCare, etc.
It is that type of "purity" that I oppose from either side.
And yet they kill hundreds or thousands of people who are homosexual. Also, Muslims don’t count raping someone as sex either. Pretty much those who are homosexual are considered expendable to them, which is worse than you can say for most Christians.
