Two intelligence sources tell NBC News that the year before the U.S. raid that killed Osama bin Laden, a "walk in" asset from Pakistani intelligence told the CIA where the most wanted man in the world was hiding - and these two sources plus a third say that the Pakistani government knew where bin Laden was hiding all along.
The U.S. government has always characterized the heroic raid by Seal Team Six that killed bin Laden as a unilateral U.S. operation, and has maintained that the CIA found him by tracking couriers to his walled complex in Abbottabad, Pakistan.
The new revelations do not necessarily cast doubt on the overall narrative that the White House began circulating within hours of the May 2011 operation. The official story about how bin Laden was found was constructed in a way that protected the identity and existence of the asset, who also knew who inside the Pakistani government was aware of the Pakistani intelligence agency's operation to hide bin Laden, according to a special operations officer with prior knowledge of the bin Laden mission. The official story focused on a long hunt for bin Laden's presumed courier, Ahmed al-Kuwaiti.
While NBC News has long been pursuing leads about a "walk in" and about what Pakistani intelligence knew, both assertions were made public in a London Review of Books article by investigative reporter Seymour Hersh. Hersh's story, published over the weekend, raises numerous questions about the White House account of the SEAL operation. It has been strongly disputed both on and off the record by the Obama administration and current and former national security officials.

Was the Paki paid the $20 million reward?
What if...We knew Bin Laden was there for a long time...We knew where he was - and he wasn’t going anywhere, so we decided we could leave him be in order to watch everything going in and out of his place in terms of people, communications, etc., for the sake of the intelligence.
Then...Obama comes along and decides he would sacrifice the intelligence bonanza to make political gain as the ‘man who got Bin Laden.’ Makes it look like we tracked him down and he bravely decided to risk approving the mission in a bold executive move...
...but we lose all this intelligence windfall in the war against Al Qaeda because Obama cared more of himself and his political gain than the country. And, since we lost that windfall...terrorism has made a come back.
Good movie plot...
OBL has been hiding all over the walls of a cave since 2003.
The Navy Seals would not have been able to get to Bin Laden and fly back out as they did being so close to the Pakistan military base. obama knew for over a year where he was and waited till the election year to order the raid. Actually it was Valerie Jarrett who ordered the raid.
Well duh... Abbottabad? a hop, skip, and jump away from their premiere military acadamy? A basically closed district where any foreigner would be immediately noticed? They didn’t just know he was there, ISI set him up there and controlled him.
Of course they did....Look at the satellite view....all roads led to the compound.
UH OH,,the WH narrative is coming apart,,again.
pakiland knew obl was there..... but the cia tracked him after waterboarding ksm at gitmo where he spilled the beans on the kuwaiti courier.....then they tracked him and verified with the local doc dna.... and then the oubmbler gave the doc up.... the seals did their job
Well, duh.
This is an area where IMO it’s perfectly OK for government officials to avoid telling ‘the entire truth’. It’s all the OTHER areas where Obama et al lie where I have a problem with it.
That sentence says several things of enormous import.
1. Pakistan is our enemy.
2. Obama knew where he was and was afraid to kill him.
3. The entire National Security apparatus has been corrupted by commies/Obamaites.
Now that I totally believe!
and these two sources plus a third say that the Pakistani government knew where bin Laden was hiding all along.
Well, duh.
Perhaps everyone knew and were mining data from the situation... but hey, POTUS needed something to boast about. Too bad SEALs and the Paki doctor suffered for it.
If there is one person on Earth I would believe less than I believe Barky it has to be Seymour Hersh.
This is news now because the Saudis are about to receive or already have obtained their Pakistani nukes previously bought and paid for in developing the Pakistan weapons program. With Iran about to go nuclear Saudi Arabia is as well and Pakistan has to be made to look bad. Obama and the idiots around him and the apparatus to control the media are going to end up unleashing hell in the middle east and soon.
Ping to Arpaio interest list...
Recall that if Barry knew for a year in advance where OBL was the date of the raid was timed to deflect Trump’s accusations and publication of Jerome Corsi’s Book “Where’s the BC” which had just caused Barry to put up a forged BC on the WH web page!
CNN was aggressively covering this story all day today and reporting NBC’s coverage as well. Fox not so much so far...
Note that Andrea Michell has three additional reporters besides herself on this story and she is listed at the end. I guess they decided to all hang together!
ANYBODY THAT BELIEVES SEYMOUR HERSH IS A F ING TARD
” the Pakistani government knew where bin Laden was hiding all along”
And this came as a surprise to whom, exactly?
Certainly not anyone who had read VS Naipul’s 1982 book “Among the Believers”. I would hope American foreign service types were at least as well informed as Naipul.
