I kept thinking this article can’t be serious. It’s got to be satire.
The article is a ticket to various DC Liberal social events, cocktail parties, etc.
Nothing more, nothing less. It’s a self-reinforcing feedback loop. Write articles that promote the narrative, get invitations to social events where you’ll get praised by your peers and encouraged to write more articles. Which then open more doors.

Oh, no, she’s completely serious. She really believes, for example, that property values on the south side of Chicago are depressed because of “racism,” while property values are up in the Washington, D.C., hinterland because of “white privilege.”
For her, there is no such thing as “laws of economics,” operating independently of racial favor or disfavor.
