Prime Minister David Cameron won an emphatic election victory in Britain, overturning predictions that the vote would be the closest in decades to sweep into office for another five years, with his Labour opponents in tatters.

A dramatic night saw the Liberal Democrats suffer savage losses and question marks were raised about the future of Ed Miliband, Nick Clegg and Nigel Farage.

That’s it for UKIP, they win just 1 seat despite coming in third place in votes. The vagaries of multi-party politics. If you’re surprised, you haven’t been following the seat projections which showed very few seats even in play for UKIP.
It was largely out his hands, right-leaning voters just plain wanted to keep Red Ed out, but Farange is not a good leader. I’m glad they did so well in the Euro elections but they don’t appear to have a future in Parliament.
Craig Mackinlay, the Tory winner over Farange, is a former Deputy Leader of UKIP.

Interesting... I wonder how much election/vote fraud there was?

Cameron's victory means nothing, except perhaps a guaranteed Sharia Law state within 25 years.
Here's the douchebag dhimmi Cameron telling a group of Muslim voters there's too many "White Christian faces" in the Conservative party, and that he wants more "Muslims in government and the British Army".

To those that are well versed in the politics of the UK here is a general comparison to US politics:
Conservatives/Tories - Establishment Republican (think Chris Christie, Jeb Bush)
Labour - Far Left Democrats (think Elizabeth Warren)
Liberal Democrats - (despite their name generally to the right of Labour, but a bit left of Tories, think (Joe Manchin)
UKIP - Conservative/Tea Party Republican (think Ted Cruz)
SNP - No real US comparison, they are as far left as Labour but only care about Scotland - hence the name Scottish Nationalist Party, probably the closest US equivalent would a Scottish Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson.

Farage and UKIP were the best thing in British politics - a voice of reason opposing EU membership and Britain's disastrously liberal immigration policy. And unlike the Tories, UKIP is serious about cutting back on welfare and social services in the UK. With their weak showing and Farage's loss, there's no chance of the Tories forming a coalition government with UKIP, as they would have to do if they had a plurality but not a clear majority.
On their own, the Tories represent a "conservative" victory in the same way as GOP establishment candidates like McCain, Romney, and Bush represent "conservatism" in the US: less immediately destructive than the Left parties, but only slightly so.
