Britain is going to become a suburb of Pakistan.
It isn’t already?
That’s it for UKIP, they win just 1 seat despite coming in third place in votes. The vagaries of multi-party politics. If you’re surprised, you haven’t been following the seat projections which showed very few seats even in play for UKIP.
It was largely out his hands, right-leaning voters just plain wanted to keep Red Ed out, but Farange is not a good leader. I’m glad they did so well in the Euro elections but they don’t appear to have a future in Parliament.
Craig Mackinlay, the Tory winner over Farange, is a former Deputy Leader of UKIP.

The UKIP finished 2nd in 118 constituencies or districts. The failure to get the seats in Parliment is problematic but will not at this point doom the party.
They are the new #3 party in the UK
Interesting... I wonder how much election/vote fraud there was?
I don’t understand a word of what’s going on. Did the liberals or the conservatives win Every post says something different it seems. Sorry for my lack of understanding.
Disastrous,
I’m so gutted I can’t even put it into words.
Here's the douchebag dhimmi Cameron telling a group of Muslim voters there's too many "White Christian faces" in the Conservative party, and that he wants more "Muslims in government and the British Army".
Pity. I liked the bloke. I bet he faced a brutal media campaign.
His media savaging made Sarah Palin's 2008 coverage look favorable by comparison. I've never seen such an assault.
Conservatives/Tories - Establishment Republican (think Chris Christie, Jeb Bush)
Labour - Far Left Democrats (think Elizabeth Warren)
Liberal Democrats - (despite their name generally to the right of Labour, but a bit left of Tories, think (Joe Manchin)
UKIP - Conservative/Tea Party Republican (think Ted Cruz)
SNP - No real US comparison, they are as far left as Labour but only care about Scotland - hence the name Scottish Nationalist Party, probably the closest US equivalent would a Scottish Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson.
The Conservative Party won. It appears they will have a narrow majority of seats.
The Labour Party (bad guys) lost embarrassingly. (Note: they spell Labor with a U over there)
The Liberal Democrats (also bad but were in coalition with the Conservatives after the last election resulted in no majority) were nearly wiped out.
The confusing part is that many freepers strongly hate the Conservative Party’s guts because they aren’t conservative enough and were rooting for a minor party called UKIP that never really had a chance to make an impact. So they will react as if this result is a disaster.
It’s better than the result of the last election, when the Conservatives were forced to team up with scumbags because no one had a majority.
Conservatives won by a good margin. All in all good
Do you know the breakdown of who won in those seats where UKIP came in 2nd? I would guess that the large majority of them were Tory victories.
