ISIS Claims Trained Soldiers Are Ready to Attack in VA, MD, IL, CA, MI and 10 Other States

Terror group ISIS reportedly has 71 trained soldiers, at least 23 of who are ready to carry out attacks in 15 states similar to the shooting on Sunday at a cartoon contest featuring images of the Muslim prophet Muhammad in Garland, Texas.

"Out of the 71 trained soldiers 23 have signed up for missions like Sunday, we are increasing in number," reads the warning, posted on a file-sharing site and attributed to Abu Ibrahim Al Ameriki, the moniker of an American believed to have joined a terror group in Pakistan several years ago. "Of the 15 states, five we will name: Virginia, Maryland, Illinois, California, and Michigan."

Fox News reported that U.S. officials are looking into the threat, but believe it comes from a low-level militant rather than ISIS leadership.

The threat makes reference to Sunday's incident in Garland, where two terror suspects opened fire outside the Curtis Culwell Center, but where shot dead by a police officer after wounding a security guard.

The event was hosted by political blogger Pamela Geller, president of the American Freedom Defense Initiative, in response to the controversial Islamic "Stand with the prophet" conference held at the same Texas location on Jan. 18 that featured New York-based Imam Siraj Wahhaj, who was an alleged "co-conspirator" in the 1993 World Trade Center bombings.

The online posting reads: "The disbelievers who shot our brothers think that you killed someone untrained, nay, they gave you their bodies in plain view because we were watching."

ISIS, which has captured cities across Iraq and Syria and has been hit by airstrikes by the U.S. and a broad coalition of allies, claimed responsibility for Sunday's incident, and said that more attacks are to follow.

They will target east... Norfolk and Richmond. They wouldn’t dare venture into the west.
I’m sure you know, the eastern shore and the western mountains are like two different countries.

If they’re as “well-trained” as Achmed Laurel and Mohammed Hardy were in Texas, now would be a good time to buy chalk outline futures.

Tidewater has always been a different country from the mountainous areas.

Every single state in the country has its vulnerable spots. It helps that concealed and open carry are legal in every city in Michigan and in public schools (with some restrictions) but there are soft spots.

Most of the universities proudly declare that they’re prey animals. Plenty of businesses are the same way depending on the owners.

Structural targets are tougher but can impact trade.

It is very likely that with 75 attendees there were about 100 or so guns in the crowd including backup pieces. The jihadis would have been shredded by .357s, .45s and .44s.

This is Texas: “Big holes calm the savage beast.”

“Henry Waxman was squealing like a pig...”

I always thought he was more like a rodent. That aside, it is disturbing that he has actual numbers of how many .50’s are in what state. When all the instant background check stuff was being debated, wasn’t one of the anti-gun nuts arguments as to why this wasn’t going to be “gun registration” was because after the check the files were supposed to be destroyed? Of course I don’t think anyone really believed that, but here is clear evidence that the information doesn’t get destroyed. But worse, rodents like Waxman then use it for propaganda purposes, as you posted. It’s this kind of incrementalism that history has shown, then leads to confiscation.

"California and (even worse) Maryland forbid their citizens to effectively defend themselves."

Don't know where you get your information, but in my County, CCW's are not difficult to get...the state did pass a law against open carry, but the County Sheriff still gets to decide.

California is a lot of things, but...

In California, gun control is a mostly urban thing isn’t it?

When my cousin married his Californian wife, she came with her own weaponry.

California is a lot of things, but...

But California is NOT a "shall issue" State, and "may issue" is highly dependent on which county you're in. Maryland is far worse. The entire State is "Bwhahahahaha you're not politically connected, you silly fool we may issue, but almost certainly won't so don't even bother filling out the form".

So what?

Your information was still incorrect. I provided accurate information to correct the misperception you were attempting to perpetuate.

ISIS stands ready to claim credit for anything that appears to support their cause. Our country is full of useless idiots. Its a perfect storm for propaganda machines.

Yep, the red counties are red for a reason, but I know many in blue counties who own firearms.

There are quite a few ranges and shops in blue counties as well.

We may not be able to get the “whole catalog” of firearms but AR’s, Mini-30’s, Mini-14’s, semi-auto shotguns, just about anything that is bolt action, etc. can be had.

When it comes to CCW though, the blue counties are the worst of the worst in issuing them.

Some simple, yes/no questions:

1) Is California a "Shall Issue State?

2) Are standards for issuing carry permits applied equally by issuing authorities throughout California?

You know that I already know the answers to both these questions, and that I am not providing incorrect information, and that I am not perpetuating a misperception.

Clean up your State.

I have a suggestion....let us have 100 Muslim cartoon weekends spread from coast to coast.....that will surely infuriate them into some sort of action....

In all seriousness, why doesn't EVERY newspaper from coast to coast run a front page editorial about freedom of speech and thought, accompanied by a picture of Mo-ham-head with a bomb in his turban? Oh, yeah, that's right, the media is a bunch of cowardly, leftist, anti-American morons. Nevermind.
