What American women have lost sight of is that “I do” also means “I will.” Very often TV and movie plots involve wives extorting their husbands by withholding sex. This is a great moral wrong. Of course husbands must be considerate of their wives’ physical and emotional condition, but wives must be considerate of their husbands’ needs.

Agreed about the moral wrong and agree about being considerate. Wish that had been something I had known when I was much younger.

There are men who do this as well, you know.

Ain’t the same. Women are like camels; they can go without sex for *years* if they want to, with, seemingly, not much discomfort.

“Niles gotta have it,” as Niles Crane hilariously growled on “Frasier.” Women *never* gotta have it like men gotta have it.
