Carly Fiorina Nails Katie Couric on Double Standards, Hillary Defense
newsbusters.org ^ | May 5, 2015 | Scott Whitlock

Posted on 05/06/2015 4:34:00 PM PDT by newfreep

FIORINA: Well, you see, Katie, in the world I come from, a title is just a title. I mean, you went through a whole bunch of things about me as CEO. You weren't impressed with my title. Why are we so impressed with political titles? Senator is a title. Secretary of State is a title. It's a completely legitimate question to say, "What has anyone accomplished with their title?" And the truth is, there are many in the political class who haven't accomplished a whole lot, despite their titles.

COURIC: What about the trustworthy claim (re: Hillary)?

FIORINA: Well, you know, I think when you know that Benghazi is a purposeful terrorist attack and you peddle a fiction for four weeks after that attack, that indicates you are not trustworthy. When you talk about a private e-mail server, that's not trustworthy. When it turns out that you were supposed to be disclosing all these foreign government donations to the Clinton Global Initiative while you were Secretary of State and you didn't and now the Clinton Global Initiative is having to restate their 990s, that doesn't sound very trustworthy to me.

FIORINA: A lot of times, women will come up to me and say, "You know, I'm very uncomfortable with the extreme position the Republican Party takes on abortion." And so, I'll say, "Do you know what the Democratic position is?" Most people don't, by the way. The Democratic policy is any abortion, any time, for any reason at any point in a woman's pregnancy, right up until the last minute, to be paid by taxpayers. Barbara Boxer described this policy as, "It's not a life until it leave the hospital." How do you feel about that? Most women are horrified. - See more at: http://newsbusters.org/blogs/scott-whitlock/2015/05/05/carly-fiorina-nails-katie-couric-double-standards-hillary-defense#sthash.XSnNZKpJ.dpuf

A one on one debate between Carly and Cankles would be a hoot.

You weren't impressed with my title.

Neither were Hewlett-Packard's stockholders, Carly.

I do love Carly. I don’t think she has a chance but would love to see her debate the Hildekraken.

As I stated, I’m all in for Cruz - the only true Conservative.

That said, Carly may be auditioning for VP.

I love Sarah...but Carly would crush the socialists and their media whores. I loved how she “killed with kindness” in her handling Couric.

Carly is one bright lady...and was ahead of time in her actions at HP.

And Hillary Clinton was elected Senator from New York ONLY because of whom she was married to. Let’s face it, if she had not been married to Bill Clinton she would be a third-rate slip-and-fall lawyer, unless she’d been disbarred somewhere along the line.

I know I’m a Cruz girl but you can’t help but admire Carly Fiorina. She is really a plus right now out there trashing Hitlery and she can say stuff and get away with it because she’s a woman. I hope she stays in the race long enough to put a few volley’s across Clinton’s bow.

For a battle of wits Couric was only half prepared.

“That said, Carly may be auditioning for VP.”

That’s what I’m thinking.

None of the other candidates are talking about what the communist monster Obama is doing to ruin the Internet with his FCC imposing SOROS’ net neutrality regulations on it. Fiorina is talking about it . I think she is the only one who understands what Obama is doing to the Internet to ruin it.

Carly Fiorina’s article against obama’s FCC regulating the Internet with Soros’ “net neutrality”, link and excerpt:

http://www.cnn.com/2015/04/07/opinions/fiorina-net-neutrality/

Crony capitalism is alive and well. If you need proof, look no further than the Federal Communication Commission’s new Title II regulations imposed in the name of “net neutrality” under pressure from President Barack Obama, and the big businesses that benefit.

Net neutrality proponents did a masterful job of marketing it with the help of late-night hosts and political spin, arguing that it would level the Internet playing field. The truth, however, is that it will insert Washington bureaucracy and control into the 21st century’s greatest success story. The Internet, which has empowered hundreds of millions of Americans in so many aspects of life, will now be subject to the same types of regulations that governed telephone service in the 20th century.

As someone who led a $87 billion company for six years, I know this: Only big companies can deal with vast, sweeping regulation like the 313 pages imposed by the FCC. This administration has had a habit of identifying a particular problem and then convincing the voters that we require enormous new swaths of government control to fix it.

I think She is coming up. I really think the dream ticket is Paul /Fiorina. Clinton is walking dead politically. She only has the parasites left to leach off of the workers. — Women are abandoning her and Mexicans know she is a baby killer and they hate that.

Carly Fiorina is a huge asset for our side. But that will not stop some of us from allying with Couric in an attempt to destroy her. That is why we truly have earned the moniker “ the stupid party”.

"You weren't impressed with my title." Neither were Hewlett-Packard's stockholders, Carly.

I felt the same way, and then I read up on it through a couple of sources. Turns out (as I should have assumed), that the entire Board of Directors voted on and approved the Compaq purchase, not just her. But after it flopped, the Board angled backwards and shoved her forward to take the heat.

It was still a very, very expensive screwup. But it wasn't her alone.
