200 Businesses Were Destroyed in Baltimore Riots
Conservative Tribune ^ | 5/4/2015

Posted on 05/05/2015 5:16:18 AM PDT by Altura Ct.

It was announced over the weekend that the 10 p.m. curfew in Baltimore was being lifted in a move intended to bring a sense of normalcy back to the city.

The curfew had been implemented last week in the wake of destructive riots and looting that occurred after the funeral of Freddie Gray, a young black man who died from a spinal injury while in police custody.

Now that the smoke has cleared and the clean up of the city continues, it has been revealed that approximately 200 businesses were destroyed in the riots, causing untold millions of dollars in damage and lost business.

However, a connection among most of the destroyed businesses was also revealed too, and it has to do with who owned the destroyed businesses.

During the riots, many black-owned businesses put up signs announcing such and directing looters to take out their criminal aggression elsewhere, if they weren’t already being protected by gangs and protestors.

According to Breitbart, most of the businesses destroyed in the largely black areas affected by the Baltimore riots were owned by Arabs or Asians, and not white Americans, reminiscent of the Los Angeles riots in the 1990s.

“Stores were being looted a lot of terrible things, but since then I’ve seen incredible acts of kindness,” said Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan, speaking about the riots last Monday night before noting that the city had largely returned to a peaceful status.

Thankfully, Gov. Hogan stepped in to the dire situation the day after the riots, sending in the National Guardto help keep things mostly peaceful over the past week and allow the city to begin recovering.

Meanwhile, the mayor of Baltimore must still answer for allowing the rioters to loot at will on the night of lawless rioting, and the Arab and Asian business owners should hold her directly responsible for the loss of their livelihood.

Ah, but the welfare office is still standing....

Yeah, but they left the suntan lotion alone.

You are on a roll today.

They’ve been taught it’s fine to poop in your own neighborhood...someone else will clean it up...I am starting to wonder about inbreeding causing mental issues...with some of those baby mommas being 2nd or 3rd generation and the daddy’s spreading their seed everywhere...

50 years after the Watts riots there are still areas that have not been rebuilt.

There are areas of Baltimore and Washington DC that still have not been rebuilt after the 1960s rioting.

The number of destroyed businesses in Ferguson was around 144.

==

Local newsies in Baltimore reported that the area of much of the rioting had much recent business development because the residents complained that they did not have access to many retail stores.

The CVS was one of the newest businesses. It also was one the only major stores offering a hefty line of groceries.

It seems this area might have been one of the infrastructure zones Obama money helped build up.

It causes one to wonder at the mentality of those burning down their own communities ‘to take it to da man’.

It is sort of like burning down one’s house to get rid of a spider or mouse.

The ‘rats honestly believe that this type of destruction actually creates jobs and economic stimulus. It’s like Pelosi’s own version of the broken window theory...

Expect the government to come forward with another Community Reinvestment Act forcing banks to make loans and build branches in this area even though they make no economic sense. And, as icing on the cake, business owners will be given incentives to hire the same thugs who robbed them and pay the minimum wage to be established. Frankly I believe a welfare system that goes well beyond meeting basic needs and provides the time and tools to organize a riot is far too generous. We continue to swell our lower class through welfare and immigration, promote the politics of envy instead of working to get ahead, and yet will act surprised when they vote to take what we have earned through hard work and advanced years away from us. Shame on us and shame on all of those promoting redistribution of other people’s wealth.

The Arab and Asian claim is interesting: it leads one to believe convenience (EBT-laundering) stores and Nail Salons were the ones destroyed.

Interesting to see a breakdown of business by type.

“Nothing makes a liberal happier”.
I don’t think these people are liberals. They really have no political thought process. On second thought I guess they are liberals.

And the condoms, Father’s Day cards and job applications weren’t stolen or burned at CVS.

I didn't want to go too far...but, they, too, were on the list!

“What fools these mortals be?” Watch as Latinos move in to rebuild and take over—Look at New Orleans. Blacks are making themselves out to be self destructive.

In short, Baltimore has become the new Detroit: a tiny area of prosperity surrounded by rapidly decay in almost every other part of the city.

Indeed, even Detroit--now that it finally reorganized its finances--will start to prosper again, especially now with the start of the construction of the New International Trade Crossing bridge, which will transform Detroit into a major goods transfer center of US-Canada trade. As such, transport companies are no longer at the whim of Manual "Matty" Moroun and his hammerlock control of the Ambassador Bridge.

It's already happening in the Los Angeles metro area. Areas like East Los Angeles and Santa Fe Springs are starting to gentrify rapidly, and we could see these areas transform like what the Vietnamese have done to Westminster and Garden Grove in Orange County. Meanwhile, much of South Central Los Angeles still haven't recovered from the 1965 Watts riots.

The right is stupid if they go along. They are defining your how you can counter them to the point you can not say anything.

Correct, and since that's the game, all bets are off and all words are worthy. (I wish the "mainstream" right could understand that).

And what’s ironic (but par for the course), is that at least one of the officers charged in this is black, and as far as I know, none of them were Asian or Arab.

I have pondered that also. The most dysfunctional members of that “community” are doing most of the breeding, and often enough, they themselves don’t even know who the father of a kid is. How then, do they prevent actual incest and inbreeding? (Thanks to some cops from the SecondCityCop blog, reporting their experiences in the now-torn-down projects of Chicago, such as Cabrini Green, for bringing this idea to my attention).

I agree. The people who pay the taxes to support these leeches don't have the time (not that they would get the pass, either) for highlighting their issues in such a way, even minus the destruction and violence.

I know a local chain that had 9 stores out of 14 destroyed the first night. They sell tennis shoes.
