Baltimore prosecutor: Probable cause to file criminal charges in Gray’s death

State’s Attorney Marilyn J. Mosby said Friday she has probable cause to file criminal charges in the much publicized death of 25-year-old Freddie Gray who died while in police custody.

Six officers, including a lieutenant and a sergeant, have been suspended after the incident. Gray suffered a spinal injury and died after riding in a police transport van that made several stops.

On Thursday, Baltimore’s police officials said they turned over their initial report to prosecutors — a day earlier than expected.

You are making a “willful suspension of belief” argument.

No, not at all; just musing over a possibility. I wasn't there, so I can't be sure one way or another, but I'm prepared for any scenario that's based on the facts.

True, if anything you would think that the police would be shouting about a warrant from the rooftops if there were one. But as another person said, with his arrest record there was a good chance he was on probation and anything from hanging out with the wrong people would have gotten him picked up. We won’t know the truth for some time though.

If anyone is interested, I believe that Sean Hannity is going to be interviewed a few members of the BPD on his radio show right after this top of the hour break...

I dunno. That seems like a typical "no nonsense, protector of the people" stance and look that you would see in an official photo of any big city or federal prosecutor.

I understand.

But if that were true would there at least be comments or quotes from the "Protector of the People" directed at the Mayor for publicly instructing law enforcement to give “Space” to those who wish to destroy?

I have not seen a word from the "Protector of the People" as you referred to her, regarding these outrageous comments.

Not a word.

Would this not suggested the "Protector of the People" is possibly biased against the police?

All Baltimore police officers should quit and find other jobs elsewhere. It might be tough at first, but it’s a big country and they can spread far and wide.

I know they won’t, but I honestly think they should. Between the criminal mayor, the biased prosecutor and the the connections those two have with the traitors in a certain nearby national capital, the entire police force should, as a group, say “so long, and thanks for all the fish.”

This is setting up Baltimore for even more riots if the officers are exonerated.

Boom! Baltimore burns once again.

I was watching on TV. Did you see when that car pulled into the auto parts store? they jacked up the car. They went into the store and ran out with 4 new tires and wheels, tried to put them on the car. They didn’t like them or they didn’t fit and the perps ran back in the store and came out with 4 more. Put those on and drove off.

The BPD police field commander witnessed Gray do a “hand to hand” drug deal. He (commander) directed the officers to arrest both perps. Gray ran for this reason.

Thanks for proving me right:

This procedure should be evaluated on an individual basis so not to place oneself in any danger.

They evaluated and decided against it. There. Done.

I think you forgot that Gray ran away from the cops.. FOR ONE MILE, WOW!!! I wonder what evidence he was able to toss during that marathon??? Also, toxicology reports usually take a while.. Not sure results are back yet. We’ll see or maybe not.

Justice on behalf of the “young” thugs in Baltimore is what the prosecutor said. These police officers are being railroaded in a Marxist political circus. Rev Al was the messenger for Obama-Jarett-Lynch and the fix is in.

Pray for these officers. I hope they make bail.
