This is getting old

The last year could be described as The Year of Transgender Propaganda. The Hollywood and news media push on the latest frontier of "gender fluidity" demonstrates the libertine left's absolute arrogance that the LGBT revolution is an unstoppable juggernaut.
Time placed Laverne Cox on a "Transgender Tipping Point" cover last June, and the aggressive culture tipping took off. Amazon created a series around a retiree and father of three deciding he was a woman in "Transparent," and won Golden Globes. Fox's "Glee" had their female football coach grow a beard and be celebrated by a "historic" 200-member transgender choir.
The cherry on this vomit is Bruce Jenner.
The one-time Wheaties box superstar of the 1976 Olympics has become the 65-year-old retiree and father of six who announced, "For all intents and purposes, I am a woman." This "moment" was marked by a big two-hour ABC News special. Jenner pointed to his 1976 Olympics pictures and said, "That is me. That is her."
ABC produced -- count 'em -- 69 news stories mentioning Jenner surrounding the broadcast, and they were uniformly laudatory. The spectacle attracted 17 million people.
Sawyer began by suggesting Jenner was in "a white-hot vortex of cameras, questions, speculation, jokes, and ridicule." But ABC was only there to bathe him with empathy and celebrate the New Normal.
Jenner said he told his children the Lord gave him good qualities, but then "God looks down and chuckles a little bit. And goes, you know, hey, let's give him the soul of a female and let's see how he deals with that, you know?" Sawyer the educator-enabler proclaimed, "And people have to know that you can want to identify as a woman, and still?" Jenner replied on cue: "Kick butt." And then he cackled.
ABC -- and the rest of the mainstream-the-fringe media -- aren't going to allow traditionalists in for a debate as Jenner dabs his eyes with a tissue and unfurls his "truth." The only skepticism Jenner faced was whether this was just another spectacle for the Kardashian-Jenner reality-show racket. After all, the E! channel is doing a new reality series dragging out this "educational" exercise.
Jenner insisted the idea that this was a business was ridiculous: "what I'm doing is going to do some good and we're going to change the world."
In the second hour, Jenner's family was brought in to shake pom-poms for the transition. His son Brandon claimed, "I feel like I'm getting an upgraded version of my dad." Daughter Cassandra said, "I just held his hand and I cried with him and I just told him how proud of him I was and how inspired I was."
His 89-year-old mother Esther announced, "I was very proud of you when you stood on that [Olympics] podium in Montreal. I never thought I could be more proud of you, but I'm learning I can be."
Over and over again, Jenner was honored for his "courage." Sawyer ended her show by proclaiming, "For centuries, so many transgender people living in the shadows. Hard to imagine the courage it took for a few brave people to come forward and speak."
Some transgender advocates suggested Jenner wasn't an ideal advocate. But in fact, he is -- smack dab in the center of the "white hot vortex" of celebrity gossip and reality TV. That's what brought the crowd to ABC, for this dialogue demonstrating the decline and fall of our culture and our common sense.
Who would have guessed that Gender Derangement Syndrome would become mainstream?
The man has a Y chromosome. He’s a male.

I think it bears repeating. There are deeper issues that no mutilation can fix. He hates who he is. Period. Becoming something else just adds to the problems.
If you ever see a transgender talking, watch their hands. They try to behave in what they think is a feminine manner but, are unable to master the female nuances that take being born a woman to actually be able to pull off.
Sad.
If you want to read a story about an Olympic Champion, who, after his triumphs on the track, exhibited incredible courage, read “Unbroken” about Louis Zamperini, rather than these current news stories about jenner.
You’d be surprised. On a recent thread about Jenner, a few Freepers were telling the rest of us we were intolerant bullies for not celebrating his sickness...that his brain was just wired differently.
What difference at this point does it make?
He was out of the media lights after he killed somebody in a car accident. Guess they want to drag him back out as the face of the gay marriage front!
If a person decides that he is a porcupine, are we going to agree that he is a porcupine. Perfectly normal, healthy, handsome man. Successful in business. Married with children. But now he’s not a man but a porcupine. Does he go on the cover of time magazine? Is he celebrated? Who know. Maybe.
People like Jenner are wired differently. Unfortunately, they can't seem to understand that it's not their body that is "wrong", it's their brain; which appears to be unable to process reality. How did we get to a point in which such madness is now considered normal, and must be celebrated? I guess Don Quixote should now be required reading as it depicts a man who had the courage to invent his own reality.
He should be in the care of Nurse Ratched.

Or "a sow may think herself a ballerina, but it doesn't mean she can dance."
The classic depiction of a lunatic was a man who believed he was Napoleon. His delusion rendered him unable to function in society, so he was locked up and treated. Nowadays, it's as though the asylum staff is being told they must refer to him as "Emperor," and undergo therapy to address their resistance to his self-perception.
In other words, the madmen truly are running the institution.
Yes, that was pretty much the argument on the thread I mentioned. For a long time now, the left has argued that homosexuals’ brains are wired differently, but we don’t give them a pass.
And what about pedophiles? Serial killers?
Yet Jenner is “courageous” for wallowing in his sickness.

A tranny called Limbaugh’s show and said that “sexually, no one wants anything to do with trannies”. If you’re a gay you want a dude, if you’re straight you want a female. If you are a lesbian you want a real female, if you are a straight female you want a real male. Trannies have a really high suicide rate.

There is a syndrome called something like body dysmorphic syndrome and it basically ammounts to people who for some reason feel that they would be better off and happier if they had a limb amputated. They go to extremes of injuring themselves to get it done, since no reputable doctor would amputate a leg or an arm because someone said they needed to do it to feel good about themselves.
Personally I think transgender is a variation on that. The difference being that reputable doctors WILL indulge their surgical and chemical demands.
The thing about discrimination of transgendered people isn't so much about getting served in a restaurant or a store. It's about people having an "ick" factor. They feel it's their right to not be judged and ironically they will judge anyone as "intolerant" and "transphobic" who isn't on board.
