What happened to all their “PROMISES” that if elected, they would do away with OBAMA CARE? Oh, their “NEW” “NEW” plan is to continue these subsidies until the next election. These “SPINELESS WHORES” were planning this from the start. The republican establishment doesn’t really want to get rid of OBAMA CARE, they just want to run it themselves. Their intentions were and always will be, the CONTROL of the population, and controlling the medical field is the “HOLY GRAIL” of all this.

Sen. John Barrasso (R-Wyo.), who is leading the Senate GOP's response to King v. Burwell, said Republicans will be willing to strike a deal with Obama to ensure that the 7.5 million people who stand to lose their subsidies are protected, at least until the 2016 elections. But in return, they would demand that Obama to do something he has long resisted: nix the employer and individual mandates for insurance coverage.

>> Isn’t it clear that elections alone cannot... secure our rights?

I’m not sure I agree... but let’s assume you’re correct, for the sake of argument.

What’s the fix? What besides elections do you think we should pursue?

Once the Supremes are bought, they stay bought.

How sad it is that the people of America are held hostage by a couple of senile old toadies that will soon tell them exactly what the meaning of the word "is" is, and they will accept is as word from God on high.

2. The GOP lied repeatedly to obtain votes.

The GOP didn’t lie - the candidates who actually ran on those things are trying to make them happen.

Yet most voted to keep the leadership, even many of those that promised they would not. The good patriots are for sure out numbered but they are not powerless. I suggested that enough patriots should change their party affiliation in order to deny Boehner and Mitch their majority status. Burn their corrupt house down.

If they won't do that then those of good conscience should resign and do like Crockett did.

Here is a vanity post regarding the nature of the American republic. It is from July 2013, and I think it is still pretty good.

Since DC will not reform itself, since all powers are flowing unhindered by congress, into the executive branch, there is only one possible (not guaranteed) solution. Through Article V, the states must convene to propose STRUCTURAL amendments to the constitution. By that I mean amendments which cannot be ignored or turned upside down by our masters in Rome-on-the-Potomac.

First and foremost is repeal of the 17th Amendment, for it pulled the keystone to securing both state powers, and our rights.

Again, all this sounds great. It's what needs to be done.

But who's going to initiate this process? Who's going to convene the states? How does one go about repealing the 17th Amendment without a states convention? Who are these people who can accomplish this?

The problems of the world have never been solved by the person who has the end objective (#10) as their goal. The world has always been changed by those who knew how to accomplish steps #1 through #9.

A movement toward an Article V convention is underway.

Convention of States.

Obama: "Just in case Soros can't sway enough Justices and they rule against my ACA, you and John can pass a bill to mend it, right?"

McConnell: "No problema!" [chuckles] "Like my Espanol, there?"

The GOP ‘leadership’ is the problem, which is why we identify the GOP with crybaby RINOs. They also vilify conservatives in the party - Cruz, Tancredo, etc.
